that's 1/4 as much. Given that the goalie is possibly the most significant player in your lineup, I don't think the ratio is really that bad.

No, I read that part. I don't see anything wrong with being rewarded for both, if they're earned. That's what I was getting at with participation ribbons. Spreading awards around to make sure as many players get one doesn't feel like the right idea to me. It's also not very parsimonious to have a ranking of "Top goal scorers not on the Season All-Star Team".

For the goalies, I'd support keeping the current system but increasing the minimum from 20% of total team shots against to something like 35-40%. You could still have 2 goalies from the same team win, but they'd truly have to be splitting equal time. And it would mathematically rule out 3 goalies from the same team.

I think last game was somewhat of an anomaly.... and today's will be closer.

I just think that teams with superior goalies are favorites.

Emus is the favorite to win this playoffs. that is for sure: the most consistent team from second half of the season.

I can't figure out why my starter has had a save percentage below 20% while my backup has been in the 40's. The starter is a year younger with a better EQ and better OR. Maybe it's the chemistry since the starter has been in camp for 2 weeks and resting for a while before that.

Energy. My starting pivot god injured, and backup had 4 blocks and 2 interceptions.

Anyone else annoyed that PPM cancelled ALL of their friendlies during playoffs?

I feel as though friendlies on game 3 days (such as tomorrow) should only be cancelled if there is a 1-1 series tie after the first two games.

Since they cleared my schedule of games at the beginning of the playoffs, I've been unable to reschedule a game for tomorrow. So for the first time in at least a season, I don't have a game scheduled... and I don't have income coming in.

I'm pretty annoyed about the unnecessary loss of (albeit minor) money.

I didn't realized that we played playoff games on thursdays. So today is technically game 3, and tomorrow is game 1 of the next round.

there will be tons of cancellations. this is the time of the season i dont care much about friendlies as i never know if i will actually be playing someone i scheduled

yeah, I know what you mean... but I like to have something scheduled if I can. Even a fractional bump in OTR and a few hundred thousand here or there can make a difference.
