I actually think it is a good idea to build the education center. That is probably the reason for the Mojo Express' relatively high success with pulls through likely having one of the best youth training bonuses. If you don't train your own, it is extremely expensive to buy a good sporting director (if anyone even bothers to put a worthwhile one on the market). I had to spend $2.625 million to get a decent one earlier this season.
Yes. The current workers that i have, on the market go between 7-10 millions. I would rather invest those money into the education center. At this point its not so expensive to upgrade.
Mission possible. 1 point improvement overall from last season. And i was able to secure the 2nd seed and wont have to play babies in the 1st round.

My third string goaltender from the beginning of the season somehow managed 5th place. My 21 year old somehow managed 3rd place in scoring. With all the prize money, I now have enough money to ... pay off my loans. I think I will earn enough money in time to start a second triple next season.
My goalie second season in a row was named in the season all star team. Too bad he will be soon replaced by my 15 year old goalie.
I had three of the top five goalies in my league. 1st 3rd and 4th. My third strong goalie won our league's best goalie prize. Funny.
if a league has several inactives, playing a goalie only against those could net high percentage. not sure if that is what u did.
that might've worked with 1 guy, but the fact that I had 3 of the top 4 would suggest that I just did a good job of balancing my goalies and picking their matchups throughout the year...
yeah for sure. just generically mentioning that a bad goalie could potentially make it if only used against dead teams. that is why i dont really like the fact one team can have multiple. I think it should only be one goalie per team.
I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. Unless they make it so that one team can only have one of the prize winning shooters or assist-leaders too.
My team has good goalies. Others have good field players. Why should someone get less of a chance at prize money just because some of my better pulls have been goalies?
As it is, there's only 5 goalie prize money slots (compared to 20 for field players). I'd actually love to see the whole thing reworked as follows:
- Only 5 slots for shooting, assists, and goaltending (15 total).
- rework the season "all-star" stuff to where it actually means something (ie, a player with high points or a very stellar defensive player).
- give each of the "season all-stars" a prize money bonus at the end of the year
- if a player is a season all-star, they cannot also win prize money for individual stats.
That would actually make the all-star selections mean something. But first, they have to fix them so that the players selected are actually what we'd consider all-stars.

my thing against multiple goalies is that they dont play as much as field players do. there are 6 field players for each team trying to be top scorers or assists. In order to be in there it is good to play both ends (off and def) as could get some from fast break.
Goalies usually there is one starter and a goalie that plays less minutes. Or a goalie that will play only 33-50% of the matches.
My issue is because it is percentage. A goalie can earn without playing as many matches (or minutes)
although i am not against neither do the same for field play but it is very likely that a players has to be a consistent starter playing major minutes to be in the list.
I also agree that all star should earn bonus but then how they assign players to all star should be reviewed as it uses match intensity as a factor: team playing on very low/low has much less chances to have the player in the day AS even when the player was clear the best of the day.
should give also small bonus for each day a player makes the AS. in that case, a 3rd goalie, for example, could make some bonus if he was the best of the day
you cant have as many slots for goalies as FP as there is one goalie and 6 Field players. At least not when goalie earn as much bonus as FP.

Agree with Bulls about the goalies. You shouldn't win anything if you're not a major contributor to your position on your team.
Also, barring All-Star players from end-of-season awards like most goals is not something I would support. You'd be one step away from giving participating ribbons to everyone who got on the court. Imagine if the NBA scoring title was determined among the NON all-stars.

you didn't read everything I said though. i was suggesting that the all-star system would be reworked, and that they'd get prize money. So basically, the best goal scorer this season would actually be an all-star under the new setup... so if he gets prize money for that, he wouldn't need it as a goal scorer too.
That's all i was saying.
