I'm not upset about how much he's going for...just bemoaning the fact that I wasn't able to promote without going to the market.

I was hoping to promote into II.1 with only home grown players, but barring a miraculous upset in my next two games, that won't happen. So market, here we come next season.

That's a bummer man. Try to find the best deals you can. you can really handicap yourself spending money on the market, as you're already likely behind in facilities and arena construction due to getting bogged down in division III.

I'd look for decent OR, 18 year old players that have recently gone to 4/6 CL. People will likely start unloading them next season, and they might be pretty cheap.

while i do agree for some reason it seems higher divisions get better players if you see the NT roster there are players from 3rd division. And many from D2.

you are stuck on SA 9. not sure how quick you built up that. Some managers are going for level 12 "soon"

Money does make difference. Division 3 wont make as much as Division 1. Worst team in D3 will make more.
You have to move to D2 and be among the top 4 to compete money wise with D1 playoff teams. Or be in D2 playoff zone to earn about the same as non playoff D1 teams.

problem is that he is facing a very good team before the finals making it very tough to promote this season specially since he started 0-1 the series.

That division is rough. Lots of good teams to come out of it.

Nothing against mmessner9, as I wish him the best of luck in this series... but I've been expecting Cunning Procrastinators to advance pretty much all season. I've actually scouted several of his players (and have more in the scouting queue in preparation for it).

At the end of season starting to build RF level 11.

No offense taken. I played the entire season on VL hoping the energy difference would help. It clearly didn't in the first game though. I should've expended the energy to try and finish 3rd in the division and avoid him until the finals, at least that would've still given me a shot at promotion. Didn't think of that until it was too late though.

I'm just waiting for the day when your building updates include "arena." I know it's coming. It's got to. You're gonna run out of cash soon enough lol.

It's been at least a month since I worked on my SA last. I keep getting slightly above average left backs.

I was actually hoping Cunning Procrastinator's NC run would work against him energy-wise since he clearly has a better team than me. Not enough it would seem, oh well.

yeah... energy hasn't seemed to be that big an impact (from what i've seen so far).

We have a 1st place team who played literally every half of the season on VL, and he actually seemed pretty mortal in his close win yesterday against the 5th seeded team. They are similarly good teams, but the one guy has probably a 15 point energy advantage and only won by like 5-6 points.

One other thing. Home court advantage seems to make a pretty big difference in close matchups. That's one more advantage any higher seeded team has.

Maybe at the end of next season I will start to build 2 triple floors right away. Right now as always, facilities are number 1 on my importance list. As I said RF will begin its construction in 12 days. After that it's HR on the list.

2 triple floors? you're talking about 2500s? that's like 160 million lol. That's more than all of my sponsorship money this season combined.

My sponsorship money this season are 150M. Im just hoping to get a good increase from sponsors.
