Don't forget that if you have fewer than 7 players, you will be dismissed by the team owners. It looks like you're fine for now, but if you were to sell one more player you don't plan to keep around before you replace the player, it could cause you problems.

It looks like you'll have good seed money to build a new team or even buy back your older players as RFA's.

yeah. i totally forgot about that, but honestly it doesn't make much sense to have less than 7 as i can't play games, and would be forfeiting lol.

regarding the older players. i'm actually astounded keenan and benedict sold for a combined 150m. they're both UFAs in literally 60 days or so, and had pretty poor energy for the remainder of this season because my auto lining went beetlejuice on me.

to spend that much cash for those guys, only to have to spend another 100m or more when free agency hits in 60 days. kind of crazy. but... i'm actually kind of excited. I should definitely be able to get keenan back... hopefully. maybe.

How much did you make... I did not get the one guy I wanted.... missed by 4m uggh.

I loathe relying on the market for anything. it's fine if i'm just grabbing a deal here or there. if i don't get it, whatever... but NEEDING a player and HAVING to go to the market to try to get one, is just miserable.

i might try to play alternative play styles now that i'm "free from the confines of winning games and having to build infrastructure" ... and now that my team has blown up lmao.

for instance, i'm currently 12th in the world in the size of my bank account. I could go full on investment banker play mode and just strive to "make money" from here lol. see how high i can get on the leader boards.

regardless of what i decide to do, i think i'll be sticking around for a while yet, so I'll probably try to run the U19 team again. i have enough pro points to do 2 more years of pro pack, so why not?

I've decided to go full on rebuild and basically start from scratch on my roster though (with all 15-18 year olds), so i'll probably be blowing the rest of my team up at some point.

This season, i still have to try to win what i can though, as i won't likely be able to miss the playoffs even if i wanted to do so at this point, and it'll take me a while to actually pull 15 year olds that are worth anything, and acquire others via the market to fill in the holes...

I'm also not even sure if "tanking" is even a tactical option in the grand scheme now, with division II being as weak as it is... we'll see. needless to say though, i won't be taking a contract with "bonus features" next season lmao.

also... sorry for all the spam and the "thinking out loud" messages. it's been sort of soul searching trip these past week, so i appreciate you guys being so supportive and everything.

Glad to see you're sticking around. Re: Div. II being weak, I can attest that in my short time, I am preparing to be in Div. I. My particular league is weak enough that I'm going to win in what my second full season? I finished part of one, played all of last season, and here I am. Anyway, to reiterate glad you're not leaving us!
