speaking of CL. I looked at my division and it's no where near as daunting as past seasons... I might actually be able to do some damage internationally this season.

Man... well Teddy Keenan only costed me 60 million to keep at RFA. Very nice. I can't believe he didn't draw more than 200m on the free agent market. But hey, I can't complain. Was able to keep him and Benedict for less than 200m.

I was legitimately worried that it would be prohibitively expensive to hold onto both of them...

I almost made a huge error though... as I forgot to "accept" Keenan's demands until just today... basically 2 days before he would've walked. Dur. glad I checked... that would've seriously SERIOUSLY ruined my day. This is a guy I've been developing for like 4 real life years at this point. zzzz.

Now that I dodged the free agent bullet, i have to figure out what I'll do with this ballooning roster size of mine... as many of the guys I was holding onto were basically insurance in case I couldn't keep 1 (or both) of the aforementioned players...

It looks like I'm the 21st seed in the playoffs of the Cup Winner's Cup. Unfortunately, I probably won't make it out of the first round.

looking for some input here. just started my handball team. Arena is at 1,600 seats. I can upgrade 1 section to medium with 450 seats for $10 million. This upgrade would be done just prior to the new sponsorships coming out. Is it worth it to spend the $10 mill for an increase of 250 seats? will I see a bigger offer that makes this a good deal?

Large stand-up then max it out. Scrap the Mediums. Then save up for triple max.

After looking at your present arena status, if it were me, I would build nothing smaller than triple floor multipurpose 1,000 seats. $38 million may seem like a lot at this level, but in the end, I know I would have been happier and richer had I done it this way. One section at a time , and then upgrade. In the end, I think it will save you a ton of cash and time. Anything less, means you have to sell the present structure for half price and rebuild.

I upset my opponent in the first round of the Cup Winner's Cup. My opponent was much better but played on very low. I play an even better team in the round of 16 - I probably won't get lucky again, but hopefully I'll at least help the U.S. still have 4 teams next season. I think I'm the last U.S. team still alive on the international stage.

Lanky just running away with things this year. Here I thought I was maybe making progress in catching you...nope.

Next 2 or 3 seasons nope, we will be working out 2-6.

Hey, congrats to Doppelgangers on winning everything in US this year.
I have a question to all of you from league I. Will I cross a line if I'll ask you how much you guys get from your sponsors for a whole season? If you don't want to share it here, could you message me about it? I am trying to make up my mind about what should I head towards in the next 2-3 seasons and don't know if trying to advance, will be the best idea.

Ugggggggggggggggg. I've not been logging in like I should because I've been trying to deal with some stuff in real life this season. I lost Lloyd Russ to free agency because of nothing more than fucking stupidity. The last time I logged in I knew he was a free agent. And I forgot to check back after his bidding was completed to "pay him" his damn bonus.

That's probably the least ceremonious send off for a guy with a dozen player awards, possibly ever. Seriously almost makes me wanna quit. I've had that guy on my team for like 5-6 years of my life and wanted him to die a Doppelganger. And he's gone because ... Nothing. I hate this game sometimes. *sigh*

Btw guys... Thanks all for the kind words of congratulations. I'm gonna try to be better about being more present in the coming season.

With the sponsorships you should be getting next season and the generally state of prices in handball, you might be able to replace him and upgrade your team further anyway.

I've been a bit busy recently myself. I generally try to log in every few days and check my "your sales and bids page" at the very least if I don't have time for much else.
