yeah... it's not so much a matter of "replacing" him... as John Field and Leo Patel are both absolute studs, and Erwin Copeland is a high OR fill-in / backup... it's just the sentimental aspect. Russ was a player I gave a ton of seasonal bonuses to, and a guy who was really my "1st great player" in handball.

I just really wanted him to grow old and just be my "veteran backup" as the younger guys came into their own. I guess that role will now go to Copeland instead. I'm glad i didn't sell him after all... he's been on my mind for the market the last few seasons.

Lanky that really sucks for you and it is good for the rest of the league. I feel your pain and now were all going to feel the pain of Copeland in about 2 seasons. That guy is a beast.

Whoa Lanky, some how I managed to beat you. Undefeated all last season and a loss in game 2. Funny how that works.

For fun, I've started a credit tournament for teams from North America and the UK to play in, if you're interested. Every team will win something (though the non-playoff teams, like mine, will get a very small amount), and the entry fee is 15 credits: handball.powerplaymanager...

yeah... normally i start my training camps earlier... i was slacking last year though, so the camp ran well into the new season. pretty sure i played the first few games with a random lineup.

luckily i don't have a bonus laden contract this year... i might need the standard contract with my poor attention to detail lately.

How the heck do you win 46:3 in D1 ???

Husky is a fairly new team in the grand scheme of things; he joined about two weeks before I did, and happened to be assigned to the team that won the championship, if I remember right. So he is starting out, more or less, in D1. I can't tell if that is good or not, but it seems maybe not.

Man I am down 70 million in sponsorship.

i bled 124m$ last season and also am making less in the coming season via sponsorships than i did this past season. I'm gonna need to do something about that deficit... it's gonna kill me over time.

Why do you have so many staff members? It looks like the last time you sold a staff member for more than it cost to pay his salary while training was back in season 15.

Getting rid of all the excess staff and paring the roster down to 25 should save quite a bit of money over the season.
