Sorry about the friendly line up last night vs Poland - i hadn't updated it to be my "line up A" rather than the default - which was pretty much empty because i have been using the junior players in the friendlies rather than the senior players.

Well, no more friendlies for a while, next game against Bosnia in a few days time!

Also very happy to have Gameplay Jenny helping me out with line up / tactical choices as assistant manager this time round

well i guess you got something to learn about how to qualify to playoffs since Gameplay Jenny done that last season good luck both of you

Yes, that makes Gameplay Jenny the most successful NT manager yet!!!

First game tonight against away from home vs Bosnia and Herzegovina. They have a strong team with the likes of Selver Stanković (SG, OR 1198), Mak Barešić (SF, OR 1167) and the beefy Meho Mujabašić (C, OR 1140) starring in their starting 5.

Meanwhile in our camp we have our own fast-twitch legend James Allen (PG OR 1193), the mighty Malfoy (PF, OR 1184) and Big Ben Finch (C, OR 1096).

Tip off at 8pm - it will be a great game - see you there!

Bosnia feels too secure and relaxed in group, i wish it would not work out for them, just for fun

What a great result for us in B and H's national arena! My close range tactics didn't work out as i'd have liked in the first half, but we made up for it in the second half when we changed that.

B and H have to be more careful now - Poland, Canada, Switzerland - they're all capable of beating them if they play a lower effort.

Again, a great team of players with many who also play at club level together! Their guards are particularly hot, and they value the passing game very highly.

On Tuesday we must win! Come to support our NT U17. Belarus still plays same way. Hopefully it will not change.

Huge game for us against switzerland later, it should be a cracking one!

it was good but not enough

yeah, i think they got away with a lot playing that heavily inside, maybe next game we will have the edge

oh it was so close against Bosnia this time. did not watch live but looking at stats looks like we lost then defence was changed

yeah, i'm gutted we lost. sometimes i put in tactics when we are winning to change the defence, just in case the other team makes changes to try and catch up again. If we hadn't beat them so much in the second quarter, we would have stuck to the Zone and i think we would have won! Gah.

This brings an interesting point to the table.

We have coaches on the floor that can determine who plays in the last 2 or 5 mins of the game. But when the tactics are completely detrimental why can't these coaches make the changes there?

After all we manage the club. The coaches on the floor are hired as in any other staff member. Maybe they should be a category of (facility) i.e on-court coaches.

It doesn't seem right sometimes that we are trying to judge the flow of each quarter. I guess that's how the game makes us interact with the mechanics but as as sim you would have guys out there making the call and not just through the time-out mechanic.

yeah i agree. Thing is now its highly unlikely we'll qualify. Poland have brought their A team, and I can't see Switzerland beating Bosnia by a big margin, if at all
