Yes, definitely if we can't compete with Beckham in the starting 5, then ill give the new guys more court time.
I hadn't thought about retraining one of the PGs at SG. I'll definitely look into this.

This world cup group looks pretty tough. Latvia, goes without saying. Lithuania we've played before, but yet to crack them, they have some great big players.

Hm, so we couldnt quite beat Lithuania at home. Its looking much harder to qualify now but i'll try my best. I may decide to push forward with some of the younger players...

Yes we deserved it! I played 3 pointers with Gilbert starting SG to see if they could handle him. Interestingly he didn't catch on fire until the last quarter, when we were going for balanced shots. He very nearly made all star, but their big centre did have a cracking game too.

Hello everyone, thank you very much for electing me as your NT manager again. I hope this time I can get some good results and continue to help develop our players to be more competitive in the future.

I asked for volunteers to help me and Beddington Park kindly offered, so I've made him my Assistant Manager. I've worked with him before and he has a lot of experience which should help when it comes to the line ups and tactics... and most importantly holding me back from playing those crazy 5 in 0 out 3 point shooting tactics!

So this season we have in our group some interesting and different teams to past seasons: Slovenia, Russia, Belarus and Italy.

A quick scout tells me that Slovenia and Russia are the best teams on paper, but it is not obvious out of the rest of us who is 3rd best.
So... there really is everything to play for in getting that 3rd place spot in the group.

Let's face it, it's possible, and we can't get closer than missing out by -1 basket difference again?! Can we?!!?

I think Mark and Jenny should be applauded for sticking to the task and getting it done. Good wins for the seniors and the Juniors.

Unfortunately we couldn't keep up with Belarus on their home court. We lost the game in the last quarter - our defense was pretty good, but we just couldnt make the shots at the end. :/

well when our main point scorers makes only 25% of shots i guess it ok to see that.

Well our game against Slovenia was ridiculously close, I can't believe we didn't quite have enough to pull off the win :/ Italy have beaten Russia as well, which leaves us in the bottom 2 with 2 games to go.
However, they are against the other bottom teams of Italy and Belarus who are near us, so I suppose anything is possible!

Hi guys, I've dropped a few of the older players and brought in a few of the best younger players for this season. Gallear is worth a mention, I'm hoping to bring this young centre along nicely in the future! Go UK!

Hi guys, thank you for voting me in again. I'm going to try my best to qualify for the next round of the world cup, although as you know this will be very difficult for us.

The vote was very close, I'm pleased that Barnsley ran and have asked him/her if they would like to be my assistant manager this season.

I've also replaced quite a few of the older guys who were not getting any playing time with younger guys who have some potential to overtake in the future.

Tthank you very much Beddington Park for your great help last season and into the start of this season. Good luck with your own U19 campaign, I'm looking forward to seeing some cracking games and progress in the competition!

Its great to see a lot of competition for NT places now. More often, teams need to have great training facilities (L14/L15) and excellent staff (coaches above OVR 150) otherwise their players will not keep up or catch up.

Also its very hard to find good Centres of any age ie 215cm+ when grown. Please pull more centre trainees from your academies/draft pick (even with normal qualities) so we can build up here.
