My facilities are almost ready to produce some real talent, but up until now i had not retained my most talented young players because i could not develop them correctly. This ends now as i will start developing my players with my lvl15 training facility ready in less than a week. I will let you know when i have some good young players coming up!

We need some guys for the Czech game so we will start off with -

Menard - C - 18 - Yardware Snakes
Beattie - RW - 17 - Bratislava Senators (SVK IV.20)
Dubic - UW - 18 - Mandalorians
McNally - LW - 18 - Tomatoes
Azzoparde - UD - 17 - Mandalorians
Bowman - LD - 17 - RC Redshift

Will have the remainder of the team selected by next weekend when (hopefully) all the scouting will be done.

And by the way, if anyone is wondering why there are 5 Yardware Snakes on the U18 roster, we resent any suggestions of impropriety. We look at influence peddling as a serious issue and would never consider being involved in it with just anyone, let along the lady whose niece just married by sister-in-law's son.

ROFL, I also have 4 players on the U20 team (and almost added a 5th one). I'm not competitive enough at my level, so I'm hoarding all the young talent, is what is going on (honestly never thought Menard would make it, I only proposed his services in case depth was lacking).

But just wait until Bart Crossley hears about this

There's a lot of lonely bus/train rides before you board the senior's jet.

Truth of the matter is that we probably could make a good argument to cut Leiprecht off the team as he went to a lower Canadian club with I believe Level 13 training. But we really would like to spread the roster around as much as possible, even if it should hurt the club a bit, in the interest of maintaining enthusiasm and hope from GM's that are not as fortunate as the guys who have been in the game from the beginning. I would love to have just one guy in there and we look forward to clubs like National and the Pylons having guys we can choose from. Leiprecht stays and we are proud to have a guy from Detroit South Tornadoes on our roster, even if that city should be, ahem...south of the border...

Getting a bit nervous about the goalie situation for next season. Maybe still 16 guys left to scout and no 17 year old on our lists. Does anyone have a 17 year old goalie? By default, he may just be the starter for Canada next season...

Very happy (and relieved) to welcome back John Clit as Assistant GM of the Canadian U18 team. Clit brings us a wealth of experience, keen insights on personnel and tactics and also a willingness to share the blame should the team again head south. One of those "Roedb & Clit" apparel shops might just be reopening in your neighborhood after all...

I've been looking all around, but there really aren't that many *good* 17yos out there that I can find easily. We either were in some kind of recession and everyone sold their talent, or it was just one very poor draft and youth pull year? :/

Will keep looking for/with you, though. I've got pretty much all the 18-20yos scouted already.

Is the only <18yo goalie prospect I got scouted atm.

(Aside from my very own Brant Dean, but he's 15, so not a consideration at this time, obviously)

We have a guy playing in europe that we found and he is up for scouting Reports tomorrow. that canuck357 sold him for 2M as a 15 year old doesnt sound promising but at least we caught a fish. by all means let us know if you dig up someone and due to our dim view of next season we would be keen on seeing a 16 year old Now as a long term hope...

we dont view nickerson as special.
