You see, I was right. I say, "That is the U20 GM's problem" and immediately you get two messages from her. It is actually quite easy to light up the chatter board...

yeah I do notice that also. training results are slightly lower for a 4/6 than a 5/6, but still good. 3/6 is where a bigger drop happens (and then 2/6 is just shit). Then age is also quite a big factor. I have gotten lucky with a few guys maintaining a good CL, but the training still drops a little bit because of age.

I don't think there is any noticeable difference between 6/6 and 5/6 actually. 5/6 to start may not be an issue at all if the drops don't happen too early. It is just statistically better chances to stay at a good CL with a 6/6.

Just let the other GM's know they were 5/6 4/6 so they do not invest the time in them for the Senior team.

Thanks. The senior GM is always paying attention. We check the market daily, and scout anybody who even appears to have potential. When we have the opportunity, we lower the age bracket to get a heads up on the younger generation.

I was just looking through my archive of players sold an bought and I noticed this guy who originally came from my team. A winger at 18 yo and 1113 at this point. Looks like he would be good enough to help the team right now. Hope it helps.

Ugh! That's one we certainly could have used but that's the way it goes. I have prioritized him on my scouting queue for tomorrow and we will cap him then I am sure. He obviously won't be playing this season as it is far too late but U20 can make their own decisions. I thought we had come up with a foolproof method of finding overseas talent. Obviously not...

He's being added to my list as well... It,s hard to go look at every single team's transfer lists. When I did it 2 seasons back, I was focusing on the players that could be useful for the U20 right then as that was a main priority. I've kept up with the draft and occasionaly load up top team's rosters, but the trade history is just... ugh. Wish the market search had an option "NOT ON THE MARKET" for searching by age, CL, OR and Avg Q

How much is the training bonus that players get when they are on the national team? Is it like a traning camp bonus? does it have to do with the team's facilities, or is it a standard rate applied to all equally?

You will need to ask that question to Krokador as about 2/3 of her club team is on someone's national team. I don't know any of those answers because I am merely the babysitter for these fine young players and have no one even close to making the national team on my club team roster...

It's a training bonus applied the same as a training camp bonus, but definitely lesser than what mine ends up being (which is why I tend to not call up players in training camps during the friendly season. Might as well distribute the wealth).

I don't know exactly how much, though. I never paid attention. Well here, Sampson, Harrington, Davison and Sutton were called up today, so let's break it down for today:

99 Q, 19yo 4/6 CL, trained 1.76 today
55 Q, 19yo 5/6 CL, trained 0.93 today (yuuup, training tech sucks)
99 Q, 18yo 5/6 CL, trained 1.7 today
96 Q, 17yo 6/6 CL, trained 1.65 today

We'll see what their training ends up being tomorrow. In memory it ends up being about 1.25 times regular training. (so like 2.25 for the higher quality guys)

Also, I have a feeling Davison is going to be a 4/6 19yo (even though he started 6/6 at 15)

Alright, comparison time (training same attribute, in the same order)

Sampson: 2.16 / 1.76 = 1.23
Harrington: 1.24 / 0.93 = 1.33
Davison: 2.20 / 1.7 = 1.29
Sutton: 2.29 / 1.65 = 1.39

There's typically a 10ish% variation possibility on training days, so I think the actual ratio here is 130% (+30%)

A lvl 15 sports academy training bonus with top staff ends up being +145% (so if I'm not mistaken, actually 245%. I have seen players go +5 in a day, and typically +4.something).

Given the probability of someone having a young NT player with a very subpar sports academy, it's safe to say sports academy bonus definitely beats out the NT bonus. But in the end they all add up

Good work on the small analysis It gives a good idea. And yeah of course every bit helps. I am hoping to get a few players on the NTs in the next few years.. For now only the U18, but someday! We all need dreams!
