we havent done the call ups this week. i was in canada last week and havent talked with clit yet...

Fair enough, as it turns out I had him in a training camp anyway, so no potential for training was lost It's kinda nice to have 4 players in there, makes me feel involved a bit

The roster is big at 50 but you can only take 28 to the Worlds. A lot of the guys on the roster are there for next season, either to play them a bit and build up the chemistry for next season or to have their names front and center for the next GM.

Lindsay - Tomatoes
Drudge - (Slovenia)
O'hearn - Y Snakes
Jensen - (France)
Boucher - Reflex
and maybe Bent (RC Redshift)
that we have earmarked for late-friendly season call ups as prep for next season. We meant to inform you before last week's game but forgot. Hope any call ups didn't &$^% up your weekend rosters. We won't play all of them every week but there is a possibility so be forewarned between now and the Worlds.

it's okay, O'Hearn's actually been a call-up all season, even though he never actually played. (And I've gotten into the habit of double-checking my roster on saturdays anyway, just in case).

It seems like you can call up more than the roster for a single game somehow (I counted a few weeks back and i think there were like 28 players called up). I am not complaining, seeing as he's been getting the extra training every saturdays, too, haha. But I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work xD

Really? We called him up EVERY week? I haven't paid attention to that really - he might have just slipped through the cracks and got left there I guess. We never had any intention of playing him until the last few weeks. Will compensate - he plays against Finland this week for sure...

Whoops. Accidentally registered to host the Worlds...maybe next season...have no idea as to how so kindly dont vote for us thanks!

3 wingers on the injured list now. Forest is now gone for the Worlds. Can't buy a break this season...

2 of those guys are day to day, though. Can you not decide to play them? Does the owner of the player have to decide that, too? Also, 18 days has to be the longest injury I've seen in this game. Wow

We aren't being very lucky so far this season...

I played a guy who was day to day in the Season 24 Worlds and the lineup defaulted. I understand you can't do that at the national level. We are &$%#ed unless someone tells me differently...

developers say they arent sure...does anyone know? can we play day to day guys at the worlds?

I'm guessing you could, IF the owner of the player has it set to YES, but there is no way of knowing if it is...

You could try to play an extra high shooting C on that line and hope for the best, or default down to 3 lines until you can fill them up? :/ (I'd say O'hearn would love a chance to play, but callups can't be changed, can they? :/)

Should be able to. But actually being able to is another story. Not sure. I presume there is no Play DTD option?

Elections are up now so we will report promptly. Can't begin to express our disappointment. We could make excuses about injuries but they really just made a bad club worse. Our defense was awful all season and the goaltending really fell apart this week. The game against Spain really hurt. He hit tactics on us in the 3rd but that game really showed our inability to keep the puck out of the net. In all three games our tactics were conservative but didn't hurt us I think. We sure hope to keep the team up but with Poland and a good Slovenia team to play yet we can't guarantee it. But still, as promised, I will run again for next season regardless of the outcome. Thanks again for supporting the team!

Thrilled to return as head of the U18 team! Sure voters could have abstained in protest/disgust but the number of votes received shows a mild tolerance for myself at a minimum. We will be rooting around the leagues Looking for whatever we can find but your suggestions of present/past players on your team would help. Note that the number of top Canadian teams is declining and thus a rejection in the past may not be the case today. Our own declining personal standards makes the likelihood even higher...
John Clit will remain on as assistant if he so chooses. Reports of his death are false as i receive periodic updates from him but his whereabouts remain unclear. Once again, many thanks for trusting us with the keys to the bar. John and i will lock up when we are done...
