So far I have gotten 1 halfway decent pull all seaason.
Know what the best part of having first pick in the draft is? When every single player you scout is a D. 
Keep your head up. I found 1 C in my league. They are out there.....
I found a B! Also having all these players to scout in such a short amount of time is really frustrating. Sucks that they're trying to get those people that would pay for the instant scout ahead of those that cannot
So lame - I got first pick in the draft, but after 28 players scouted I've found 27 D's and 1 C. Makes me wonder what the point of all that scouting was.
I feel like the HR department makes a difference in the scouting process for the draft. I found a few B's, C's and a ton of D's.
I found 3 B's (after scouting everyone from one position and nearly everyone from another position).
This is probably a stupid question...but wth...
I have been assuming that the draft engine estimates a player's position based on his current skills, size, etc. Is that right? Or does it somehow factor in a reasonable expected growth?

If you found a few B's, most likely a couple of them are A's in reality.
there is no point. Sorting should be based on some sort of hint .. as top 7, 1st round, earlier 2nd, mid second and so on.
and give us less scouting options so there could be some strategy.
hidden gem would be in the 2nd round.
as it is, draft only helps to scout based on position. it is a good thing but not enough for the needed effort (scouting every day and show up on draft)

HR won't turn a D into an A, all it will do is let you see if that D you scouted is really a D or maybe a C. On top of that, if low level scouting makes the draft useless, why even have a draft at all until we get HR 10 or so?
So, now that our draft is done, I see zero A's and two B's out of the entire draft class. No hidden gems either. Why spend weeks queueing up picks for nothing?

8 Vinnie Ratcliff,10 Kelly Raines, 21 Moises Reinert and 23 Bryan Gwenni were also B to me.

I had 1 A (Darn you Nite Slayers) and about 6 B's from my scouting. Pretty happy with who I got, just wish I would have gotten that PG.
