Since the change to weekly pulls I haven't gotten anyone with more than 3 stars. I say bring back the biweekly youth pulls.
I thought I had a superstar, 4* pick but he looks to be more a mid 70s center. The starting OR of some of these kids (321) is so high, you figure that someone must have 90 AQ.
My best from today was an OR 240 6/6 defenseman. I thought I might keep him, to train him up to be a replacement in 3-4 seasons' time, but his tech Q looks to be in the 50s. I'll scout him first, but I may sell if this holds up.
I always get guys who are max 3 *'s in a single spot and they seem to be servicable - it's when I see a 3.5 or 4* that I get excited and they turn out to be bums - strange how that works.
ha! Pete Rose! Damn skippy you better watch his bank account! Then again maybe he can help the team earn a little cash on the side

Turns out if you throw away the score from the aggression judge he has 80 AQ. But what can you expect from someone named Tater?
I haven't gotten a single pull worth anything in a long time. Since the update I think my pulls have gotten worse even with an upgraded sports academy.
I'm happy with tonights pull! Not because I got a great player or anything. I actually did get 2 decent guys, likely never starters for me tho :/ What made me happy is I slipped my grandsons First/middle name in the name d'base as a 1 in a 1000 (1:1800 to be more precise) first name I got a decent player with his first/middle name as his first name. It's going to be hard to cut or sell him from the team tho lol
I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled an amazing defensive prospect a little under 2 weeks ago. If I played 4 lines I'd be able to insert him into my line-up immediately, but since I don't he's been sitting to get the most out of his training. I was ecstatic that his qualities barely dropped after scouting. As of today:
Alvin Good
Age:15 - OR:192 - AQ:82 - CL:6/6 - PS:U
G:11(94) - D:51(97) - O:19(53) - S:30(85) - P:30(90) - T:20(60) - A:31(98)
I'm only in IV.2 (yeah...), so other than the players I bought when I first got access to the market I've been standing pat with my roster. I think as long as I stick to this philosophy and allow my team to develop organically he should be a mainstay on my squad for a long time (once he makes it).
I consider him to be my first homegrown franchise talent and I'm excited to see how he develops with HIS team

You're in 4.2 you should definitely play 4 lines with some young prospects.
Agreed. 3 lines is mainly for use against superior (or perhaps even) talent in the regular season (and you could use it in the playoffs). If you are in Division IV and didn't just join two weeks ago, I would play him. You'll need the experience if you promote to D3.
