Subjek: Youth Pull

2 5/6s and a 6/6 (of course the lowest) with very good distribution 3.5 to 4.5 stars. Will be a while before they will make an impact but nice to have some decent pulls.

Oh and one garbage 2 star that i just didn't accept.

Having them 5/6 to start doesn't have anything to do with when they'll turn 3/6. In fact there's nothing saying a player that starts at 5/6 will turn 4/6 before someone that started at 6/6.. I've had it happen that way. The AvgQ is what irks me.

I've had a few high 70's over the seasons or I'd be totally fubard. What gets me tho is I could show you teams that get that many and 80+ q guys ever season! The system has never made any sense and the more I see it the more I resent it.

I have only 4 pulls over 75 with one being an 82. However, a player with a lower AvgQ can still be a star if the Qs are high in the right places. I have a few players that train better than those 4 just because of where their Qs are high.

Ya, we all know you need q's in the right spot, however, every player i have tried to train off a pull of 5/6 drops to 4/6 next season and within 2 down to 3/6. this is for me, yours may differ. the point is still valid, on a fresh pull it should be 6/6, the 1st season is what lets you know if they are a future starter, or sale bate for new teams.

there is a serious issue on pulls, I should be pulling decent ones at least once a season. I am not asking for 80's or even 70's, a nice 50ish or low 60's would be fine!! I am getting frigging 30's and 40's.

I am starting to beleive the others who say there is bias from country to country. And this is what is going to make me leave. There is no point in playing, if you can never get better.!!

We're on the same page about the possibility of certain national bias. I've long suspected it but yet somehow I keep coming back for more hoping I'm wrong.

since midway between through season 3, i have 3 good pulls and thats been it, all the others are between 100 and 200.

Well for good pulls you need better facilities and staff. For my pull this week, my youth training was at 73% and level 9 SA. I got 3 pulls around 250 and one goat.

Starting at level 10 and with quality staff you get decent pulls.

Trash again this week. Must have used up my luck last season.

I don't think it's a national bias as much as some nations have 5x more teams.

The larger the pot the more varied the number of pulls.

I've had some good luck with pulls, so much so that I haven't had to buy any one to have a decent team. Then again, I have 88% youth training and level 11 SA right now. I've had lvl 11 SA for a while and 100% youth traning and that's when I got my best players, high quality and high OR as well. Now I sold one of my SA staff members and dropped to 88% but I've still managed to pull some real high quality players, but with lower OR. Could it be some sort of correlation?

Yes, there is a correlation. I believe I read somewhere about facilities and the fact that they really start to shine 10+, before that there isn't a huge difference, but the quality grows much faster after that. Of course, it takes a long time and lots of cash to develop facilities beyond 10.

I recall reading quite a while ago that the SA only boosts the starting attributes of youth pulls, the qualities are completely independent and random. Has this changed?

I believe that is still true. However, having a 6/6 stud come in at 190 is a vastly different story when they come in 100+ points higher.

If the OR of your pulls are producing youths that are too low to have a chance to play, its time to upgrade....

I've had a lvl12 SA for several seasons now and only ever gotten a player over 300 OR a couple of times :/ Sure I get a lot of players but a lot of crap players still doesn't do much for me.
