Nice analysis. That makes it all the more difficult to decide how to play these next two games. I'd love to conserve energy in the league and go all out at the ChL championship...it would be fun to win two international cups in a row, and it would be really cool to secure a CWC berth for Team USA after their great run in the NC this year.

But can I beat the #1 Japanese team, who has better players anyway and has played 34 league games on very low (while going 38-0-0 in league play)? I'm basically playing the entire Japanese national team! Sure, I'm at home, but I have to beat them by two, or beat them 1-0 and win the shootout. Is it even worth it to conserve energy for that?

Your game vs willmott is definitely the lynch pin. If you can pull it off, everyone is still in the running for 4th. And our final game could decide everything.

And of course this is soccer, so anything can happen. I didn't really like giving the Psychos those two loses. I think he could upset one of them.

I still think the Betamax edge me out for 4th. Wildcats probably take 6th. Psychos in 7th. Whoa. Team USA is in a very respectable 8th place and could catch the Psychos since the High Headerz have nothing left to play for. That would be a nice trick.

On what day after the season over, relegation matches and League Cup starts?

Looks like I'll be playing a relegation match- wish I would've saved that energy from my late season push, but I had to at least try to avoid it.

I'm not sure how I'll fair but I'll give it the ole college try. If not it's back down to II for hopefully only a short stint

Ugh. Two consecutive 1-0 losses on games where I outcontrolled and outshot my opponents, and both on goals after the 80th minute. If you could stop jinxing me with predictions of 4th-place grandeur, that would be cool.
