We have 3 teams going to the CWC- Betamax, Fakeballers & team USA.

Two teams going to the ChL- Boilermakers & Coronas.

Only one team goes to the SLC, right? That means it's between my Atomics, Magic Kicks and High Headerz. Which means Blackkat is going to the SLC

Well I can see that I am going to get my butt kicked this season.

Oh man. I might have effed up. I'm going to run both camps early so I can get rid of my Player Training SDs. I left 3 starting dmen out of camp so I could remain competitive. Hricek got hurt for 9 days and Paquet picked up a red card in the first half yesterday.

I'm down to two eligible dmen

Not bad I sent everyone to camp and then one of my D got hurt so I had to go out and buy someone didn't have a replacement for him.

Have you estimated how many points you'll lose in league standings by running camps the first two weeks? You could be losing more from a lower league placement than you're saving with your short term SDs...

It wasn't supposed to be this bad. When I made the decision, I had three very good dmen and a capable 4th. I think I would have been playing 8/11 starters. Or 7/11 if I consider Stamper the main starter at CM. McCready picked up his 12th yellow in a meaningless 42nd game last season. So he's suspended for the first 3 games. I made it a point to keep Lemieux out of camp this week so he could provide some offense.

Things got real ugly real fast. The injury to Hricek was bad. I should have addressed the situation then. But I won my first game. I thought I might manage. Now with Paquet also missing from the back end, it might be time to spend some money. The only problem with that is I don't think it'll matter against the Boilermakers on Sunday. So I might just accept that loss and keep some more dmen out of the next camp instead of spending money on a stopgap.

Or maybe I should look to spend a lot of money on a really good young dman...

You could buy one of my last 2 original players, Leon Watt , off me on Wednesday.

lol. You're the second person to offer to sell me some old guys It's too late. I only need them for Sunday's match with the Boilermakers. And even if I could find two solid dmen in time, it probably wouldn't matter against Valina & Bragg. I'll look of course, but I won't break the bank.

Current camp ends on Monday night, so I'll keep a few dmen out of the next one. Starter Blount will be back and Carpenter & Racvolgyi will be the others. It won't be as good as the regular starters, or probably some players I could buy, but those two have a bit of exp and decent chemistry. They're both future starters.
