WOW- Havent looked it up yet. Feels like we are agetting Jipped. How are we supposed to compete nationally with that going on?
Yeah, it's pretty sad how much stronger we are than some nations that qualify the same number of teams. The group stage being an easy OTR farm for most US and Canadian teams does not make for a terribly thrilling tournament.

Im confused. I thought that the change og sponsorship offer will go in effect after next season, not at the end of this one.

No the 30% thing has been delayed a season. Next season will be the 'starting point' for that.
But the penalty for using weaker lineups in important games (like the League Cup, lolnotimportant) still stands.

I've replied to this comment (essentially) in the Football Q&A thread, but my understanding is that League Cup matches are not "key games".
Our sponsors are not satisfied with the performance of our team in the promotion/relegation match. These kind of matches complicate our negotiations with future sponsors as well.
Congrats willmott, I hope you've had a chance to look at your match so I don't ruin the surprise.

Nice! I did see it in the match report first. Wow, six yellow cards. My guys took that aggressive if tied at the half thing a little too far. I'm lucky it didn't cost me.

Sold one of my original players who was on a team for over 730 days. Sad to see him go. 
I've only got two left, one of which will probably be sold sometime next season since he's not a starter anymore. The other is my goalie, who's probably got a couple seasons left in him before his replacement passes him up.

Well this one that i sold, was a starter. He was 4/6, but 24 years old. I knew CL would go down after this season, and then he would become a restricted free agent, so i decided to get the most money for him while i can.
And today i will put on the market another original one, who is on the team for over 780 days. He is 23 years old and 3/6.
I bought subs for them last season, and now they are ready.
I will still have 4 of the originals in the starting line up.
