My silly team...after tanking into the relegation zone, I was resigned to moving back to II for a season when they suddenly started finding the back of the net again and yo-yo'ed me back up to 7th.
Oh well, at least if I stay in I.1 I'll lose the (completely undeserved) USA OTR lead to someone worthy (aka Boilermakers).

Getting that top OTR spot is something I strive for. I've been close a couple of times this season, but I haven't been able to pass you yet. The big match that stands out in my mind is the NC 3rd place match. I probably won't be able to get (and keep) that top spot next season anyways if I don't qualify for an international cup. (It'd be really nice if Arlington won the CWC by the way)

Doing my best. I really wish my team had capitalized more on an entire half of 11 on 10 play last game. 2-0 is nice, but a huge cushion would mean I could rest some guys tomorrow. As it is I've still gotta play them pretty hard.

It was a sarcasm. I decided to go down for a season. I know i can stay and win the relegation games if i want, but im gonna forfeit them. My goal was to finish 15 or 16th, since i want to end up in ll.3 or ll.4 Now is the last chance to increase OTR before the the new changes come out to change game economics.

I made that decision long time ago, but im still not giving away easy wins.
I'm starting to think the forums are factored in to the game calculations, similarly to injuries as tujague has already proven with his hockey team. I whined about not being able to score back on June 22, and after 1 more league loss, I haven't dropped a game (including friendlies) since.
I wonder if whining for another team will work, cause I could sure use an Arlington Betamax win in the CWC. Hopefully, this post doesn't jinx my streak (or his chances).

Hey, I'll take all the help I can get. JSF Lightning haven't lost a CWC game yet; they match up comparably to me in OR but they're in II.1 so his guys are much more rested.
The bright spot for me is that he uses pretty much the same 11 guys in every game, and three of those guys are suspended for the finals. So maybe his chemistry will be off and he'll have some holes on the field.
