i didnt think i'd do very well in this league so i didnt bother trying and ran both camps in the middle of the season. thing that i had the most was my main midfielder went down for almost 30 days straight with back to back long injuries.

Well that's just weird. You have a quality team. You easily could have survived if you tried. Although with the changes coming up, maybe now was a good time to relegate and come back stronger.

I don't think anyone knows. They're changing how sponsor offers work this season. They're trying to make it worth our while to stay in a higher league.

Yeah. Eventually you'll reach the point where you have to choose between one or the other. I think I played the last 7 or 8 league games with really bad 3rd stringers. I didn't even use my regular backups so I could preserve them for the CWC in case of an emergency. My choice was a bit easier. I think I was in 6th at the time.

I think they are changing it right away after this season. So there is no reason to go down.

Ohh. I see why you were asking. I was talking about the OTR thing. Some teams liked to promote/demote over and over so they would only lose 15% OTR every other season. Now you will only lose 20% when you promote, but not if you promote into a league you were already in. darksidebarji is in I.1, so next time he comes up he would lose the full 30%.

But they are delaying your starting point until next season. So darksidebarji can demote this season and II will be his starting point. When he comes back to I.1, he will only lose 20% OTR.

I relegated 2 seasons ago from D1, and then back up last season. I didn't notice a huge difference overall in a money sense. Yes, you make less with sponsorships and attendances aren't as high, but you also get a huge cash bonus if you promote back.... Seeing as how I'll likely be going down again this year, I will have ample time to test this theory again
