I was just looking at mine as well. One dead team, one at 82OTS and the other good one is at 141OTS. I play the last one first. So I'll use the starters in that one. If I win, that should pretty much guarantee a playoff birth. Then the kids can play the rest.
Welp after 4 consecutive seasons with a 13th place finish I decided it was time for a rebuild... selling all my older players, will be able to drop down for a few seasons finish out my stadium pretty quick start finishing out facilities and then focus on getting back up here when my younger crop starts hitting the FA age.
Did you read biznow's article?
Since my team is newer and younger than those of teams that started in season 1, I'm going to try to avoid that altogether while attempting to build a team that can dominate in Div II and maybe stay in DI next time I promote up there

I didn't...maybe I should? Honestly hadn't paid much attention to my team lately- the stagnation of where I was got kind of boring. Basically just logging in, saving up, buying facilities / arena to try and catch up ground
It's in the first page where you can see your favorite threads on the right and chose what team to go manage on the left, under "Latest Articles on PPM"... Or here:

Yeah, I put my best team on the field for the Fakeballers and they beat me. It was a close one, though, and in Faketown, so I still have a chance to make it a wash with them in the standings if I can win my home game next time around. My lineup since then has been using some youngsters, and I got burned by it against the Mouth Breathers (although I did move in my top two CM's and my top CF for the second half and they still held off my attack--they just had a great game that day)
As for OTS, yeah, I'm actually usually not #3 there...the Headerz are usually ahead of me and I'm often on par with a couple other teams. Hasn't really stopped my guys before, but I think this year I'm in a bit of extra trouble because my goaltending situation is catching up with me. I haven't trained my keepers well, and they both dropped in CL. I may have to pick up a new one this season.
What hurts most is that with my slow start and a couple of tanked league cup games last season due to my second camp, I'm losing ground in the worldwide OTR race. I was up to 14th last season and in striking distance of the top 10, but now I'm down to 21st. And those guys don't lose often.

I don't count the High Headerz in the rankings. Blackkat isn't around all the time and doesn't even try to win when he is. It's a shame. He's got a good team that would be a lot better if he could add a player or two.
I haven't paid it much attention, but I don't think I've been even with you for a while, have I? I only added an extra forward recently, so I was pretty surprised to be right there with you this season.
I'm #189 in OTR

I think my undefeated season will end within a weak - at least one of the next three teams I play should beat me (probably more than one
).

Yeah, that didn't take long.
Talk about a second half breakdown - maybe my newest CD is a prima donna and got upset that The Crater doesn't stock the right brand of bottled water.

We don't serve any bottled water. All water in Bombsville is as pure as the driven snow. Our entire government is set up to keep the water clean, proper education of all citizens, and clean, cheap energy. There are also no taxes. The whole thing runs on donations and rentals. "Rentals?", you say? Yep. The government controls all rentals in Bombsville. Tools, movies, games, housing, etc. Your team probably stayed in one of the three government run hotels. Renting is big business. So it's an easy and fair way for us to make enough money to keep things running.
The donations come from citizens who want something. This could be anything from a dog park up to a movie theatre. The neighborhood/group will raise as much funds as they can for their project. We figure out the percentage of the total cost they raised. Whichever project has the highest percentage raised gets built next. Most projects are done by the people without the need for government assistance because our citizens are so well educated. But we are there to help in anyway we can.
Of course we had to ban most cars because we couldn't afford to keep a massive road system in good working condition. Rentals and donations only go so far. So most of the side streets have been replaced with green spaces and bike paths. The government will rent lawn equipment so you can keep your green spaces looking beautiful. The government also rents vehicles if you feel the need to drive on the few main streets that are left. Or if you need to leave Bombsville for whatever reason.
But that almost never happens.
