So, I was thinking it might be fun to put together a prediction pool for I.1 this upcoming season. Anybody who's interested puts in, say, 5 credits at the beginning of the season, and then the winner or top couple of people take the prize at the end of the season. I have two potential formats in mind:

-Standings prediction: everybody picks what they think the table will look like at the end of the season. Then, when the season is over, we award points for how well everybody picked: 5 points for each correct prediction, 3 points for a miss by one spot, 1 point for a miss by two spots. Highest score wins.

-Game-to-game prediction: every game day, pick one team you think will win their game. You can't pick a team more than twice over the course of the season, and you can't pick yourself or the team that you're playing. Most correct picks wins.

Anybody interested? What format sounds better? Not even a requirement that you're in I.1 to play. I figure if we get at least 4 or 5 people to join it could be fun, and it would be a good way to keep interest in the games throughout the season.

Hey, what do you guys think of the season bonuses?

Until now, I used to buy them bc my team was still growing and they were pretty cheap, but now they're getting more expensive and they just don't seem like they're worth it since I usually sell my older players bc, naturally, they've got the most OR and are worth the most (Ik good young players are worth a lot too, but my SA is only level 12). Anyways, since most of you guys are here since season 1 and are ahead of me, do you use your season bonuses or are they a waste of money? Thanks

I save them unless I know for sure I will keep that player that long. Waist of money.

ESPECIALLY if you are using it in handball right now.

I only have a soccer account, but I'll probably sell my oldest players next year unless I promote to I.1 again

Hmm, 548 OR seems like a lot for a 15 year old pull. Too bad Kyle Stearns is 5/6, though. And he's gonna cost me money while I try to figure out who to get rid of, cause 8 SD's on the roster is probably excessive.

The pull I kept has 404 OR. I might fire him now.

This was of course the same tired old joke. But is it actually true now? Looking at current OTS, The Atomics are at 180 (Dekker in there might get me to 181-182) and the Betamax are 179

Or is willmott running a camp? No, he is not. Are you testing new players, willmott? I assume you put your best foot forward vs the Fakeballers. Does this mean that the Atomics now the 3rd best team in the US?

Not that the team ranking really matters. I'm like the 8th best manager at best. So I'll be fighting for 4th as usual
