Yeah, I was shocked I won. Bid everything I had with 2.5 hours to go to the deadline since I wouldn't be around for the finish, and I figured maybe the power will go out in Europe or something, and I'd get lucky. I definitely expected someone to outbid me at least once for 500 million. Even if he is 4/6, 1600 OR at 21 is not very common.

I'm a little sad though that now it's time to sell my oldest CD who's my current longest standing player with over 1000 Days in Team.

Yeah, for a 1600 OR player, that's a good deal. If I were to sell my top guy (22yo, 4/6, 1629 OR), I'd be looking for at least 600M-800M.

Ugh....this totally ups the ante for next season. I was hoping to buy a young guy for the future, but maybe I need to make another pickup to try to stay ahead of you, too.

I think your players were busy checking the smilies instead of listening to the game plan so that's why they got no shots on my goal.

Goddammit, man. There are some ridiculously expensive players coming into the league this season. I was completely ill-prepared to spend half a billion on one player.

Basically, I've been using mostly my second string in league play for the last few weeks to try to save energy for the Champion's League, although after going down 2-0 in the first leg this week I'm probably not going to make the finals. It was working well when they had enough energy to burn that I could out-importance teams and win, but I think the last few games now that other teams are going with higher importance too, I'm getting burned by it. Today was a mix of starters and second string. I'd say it started with 4 or 5 of my top 11, and then I moved three more in at halftime when we were tied. They're just all so tired at this point. I tend to invest a lot of energy in the NT and whatever IC I qualify for, and I'm really finding that to be competitive in both league and tournament play I need two teams' worth of solid players.

No offense, zomg, but I'm going to be pretty upset if you manage to steal third from me on the last day of the season because I can't pick up a single point in the last four games. Hopefully I can at least tie the Spurs at home, using my top lineup on VH.

If I open a camp right now, than Boilermakers have a chance.
