i was wondering the same .. 1:1 is a bit too much but not bad.
From my database analysis, 1:0.8 is the best ratio. But certainly 1:1 should be better than 1:0.6

Whatever I feel like using when I'm looking at my practice page
Seriously. I don't even think any of my forwards are using auto training because I like to switch things up every once in a while. But I've always tried to train forwards in both sports at a 1:1. That's one of the few things that's been consistent. Does it work? Hell if I know.
My best forward Raymond McCready is currently at 276/276 52P/152T/201Sp/115H. He's pretty good, so I'm trying to keep developing players on the same track. But I also let the Qs influence training. So Lemieux doesn't have any Heading, but Colt Diaz has Heading and twice as much Passing as McCready.
By far my favorite screwed up forward is Yaroslav Korbetsky .
108/119 103P/106T/108Sp/104H.
I almost hate to fix him=)

1:1 is probably good, but there are probably diminishing marginal returns. A player who spends the extra gain in shooting elsewhere will probably be better overall.
I hate you. But my asshole LM got a red card right off the bat and there go all the tactical crap. Never gonna make up a 4-0 deficit. Wait, it's over two legs right, it's not a best out of three series, is it? If it's two legs (I'll check in a minute) I'll probably start camps right now because it seems like I'll be here again next season.
you should punish him 2 weeks without payment.
2 legs games losing first by 4 is near impossible to come back. But never know, maybe next match he is the one that loses his LM and his tactics get messed up

I know the feeling of losing a promotion match, but at end i was glad i lost. This season i was able to win the division and earn a nice trophy that i would never be able to win unless i relegate from D2

I just noticed that because my LM got a red card in the Promo/Releg match, he'll miss two matches, one of them a regular season match, which would be at the start of next season. Funny thing is that I had not received a direct red card all season.
Keep in mind, if your lineup becomes significantly weaker, you'll take a hit from the sponsors for throwing the promotion game.
Yeah, I know, but I had to run camps. It's not just the promo/releg game, it's also the Cup games that will lower my avg. I'll try to manage my camps better next season. This season I just blew it and also was in a dog fight against some really tough competition, which was actually really fun.
Oh cool, so it's really just one game to that will bring my avg down so it's not that bad. Thanks for the info T.
Nice to know. I run mine late because wanted to wait to finish my training facility. I was afraid to lose sponsor money
I significantly upgraded my defense today, though probably at twice the amount I should have paid. My 3 best players are now all defensemen.
Anybody who could use a side defenseman should take a look at Guzman. He was a starting side defenseman on the Colombian national team until this year.
