Dang, I was hoping Covington would lose. I still have a little breathing room, but I have the most difficult schedule between the three of us battling for 6th. Should be an entertaining final run.

I'll have to admit though, I have the tougher schedule and it's scaring me a bit.

Hilarious lineup against my Saints tonight. Wonder if after the 5th minute there were changes.

That looks to me like an "I won't win anyway, maybe this will work" lineup. I used to play with five defensemen and four midfieldersa few seasons ago before they made it so that wouldn't be effective any longer.

You should have played with the mirror image to that lineup: eight forwards and two defensemen.

5-4-1 is actually a very recognized formation. I don't think they tweaked it so that it wouldn't be effective anymore. In fact, they tweaked it so that the 8-0-2 formation I played against is the one that's not effective.

I played a 4-5-1 with mild success.

4-5-1 is the lineup i tested that gave my team the highest team rate (def+mid+off). it is a good one if we your team is worse than the opponent.

Not effective? This may be true, but I don't think my team got the memo.

Granted, I did play with higher importance than my opponents in all of these matches, and all three were probably flukes, but I'm going to pretend I'm an amazing manager with outstanding tactical skills.

Assuming the Saints lose at least once, I have quite a few goals to score over the next two games. I have to score at least 7 the first game and somehow score seven more goals the second game. It seems rare to score more than 7, even against the worst noname teams.

The races for 6th, 14th, and perhaps 18th are still compelling. The Death Munchers have a pretty good lead with two games left but a very hard schedule; the Covington Rowdies look like the favorites. The Samurai play two other folded teams and the Zucciny Warriors play one folded team while ZEMLJORADNIK has to play the Rowdies. There's only 3 points between 9th and 12th as well. It seems that the folded Big Cigars will probably demote. Probably either Bayvern Munich or the Chicago Firehoses will meet second place in the relegation round.

I literally tanked my teams season... and when I try to make up for my screw up, my forward goes and get's red carded in the 27 minute of the game. I think those elves have it out for me...

All I need is one win to secure 6th... This would be SO much easier if the Ultras were already dead.

I still think that game today was a fluke
