After very close win against the Saints, I now play 5 of my next 7 games against teams that have folded. Hopefully I can improve my goal differential.

Disappointing and close loss. I thought my guys would have more energy than your guys.

The Saints probably did have beter team strength than I had, but I guess I was still close enough in team strength to upset the Saints. Even so, my team is still more likely to stumble before the season ends so that other teams can catch up; 40% of the games I haven't won already have been against Boca AC. Those 5 points are probably going to cost me before the end of the season.

I thought I had finally found the CM upgrade, the last upgrade one that I plan o make, that my team needs at a relatively cheap price, but my access to the internet crashed just before time ran out and someone else made the final bid. The plaer went for about 10 million less than I was willing to bid.

I meant to say that they likely did have more energy, as I have tend to be more liberal in using energy than most.

I finally found the CM upgrade I've been looking for; he's back from playing in I.1 with the Montana Miners. Between Brook and Jonak, I might now be working towards building a team from the castoffs of former II.1 teams. Now I need a goalie from the Big Cigars and maybe a defenseman from the STL Saints.

Unfortunately, I threw away 2 more points, this time against the Silly Nannies. I think that it will be to hard for anyone to catch Smart People anyway. The promotion match will probably be difficult for whoever manages to ultimately take second.

You want me to sell you a defender?

Smart Folks are gone. He has a big enough cushion to run camps before the season is over, in my opinion, while we scrap for positions down here. I think he'll win the league and Cup.

Smart People probably have first place, though I think it's still possible to dethrone Smart People. They still need to play my team, STL Saints, MK Ultras, and up to 6 teams that are capable of an upset. MK Ultras, Firestorm, and STL Saints probably have not far from a 50% chance of winning.

As for the league cup, MK Ultras, Firestorm, and Sterling Cheetahs FC will probably be too exhausted by then to compete (like my team was last year).

Same for my Saints. We'll be out by the 2nd round like the last couple of seasons.

I'd like to thank the Typhoon for striking again against the MK Ultras.

The Sterling Cheetahs FC seem to be quietly working their way up the rankings.

My next five games against all of the other top 7 teams except for the STL Saints should be very consequential.

My third-string goalie now has the league's longest goaless streak.

Thank my laziness. I didn't log in to change the tactics or match importance, and I didn't know who I was playing. Overall, I got lucky.

Is he really a third stringer if he's getting so many minutes?

He's currently my third best goalie (though he's not that far behind); I'm just preparing him to eventually become my starter since he'll ultimately become my best goalie.

I see. Would love to have your "problem" I got a decent starter but nothing in the pipeline.

There goes my season. I might have been able to close an 8 point gap, but a ten point gap is too much. Though I may still have a chance at the promotion round (though I have a hard schedule over the next four games), I'll have to hope that Bob Jones somehow holds onto 18th place.
