I didn't expect the Cosmos to fold too. They were still a pretty dangerous team with their one really good forward.

Well I forgot to log on and change my tactics but luckily the team I played against had no general manager. Score at halftime was 1:3 Typhoon, and I won the game 3:4 with the game winning goal being scored in the 90th minute. I got sooooo freaking lucky.
That's it, I don't care how good my goalie's stats are, he's been a total failure this whole season. I've had way more than enough of his unprofessional play, if anybody is interested in a bad goalie with good stats. hes up for sale soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
I've had the exact same problem this season. My best theory is that it has to do with a bad soccer formation. There doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern with the more successful goalies in terms of attribute ratios.
With all the great young players I've pulled and bought over the last four years, enough for a whole team, I almost want to rebuild. I also only have four starters over 20 (but only one under twenty).
I would sell off my older players for a lot of money and start to play my younger players who will ultimately be better. I'd probably struggle to compete in I.1 with my current team and might consider this if I promote at some point during the next few seasons.
It was a close game at least. Another game where I take a ton of shots (24 on target and wide) and almost tie or lose while giving up 2 shots on target. The losing goalie even got man of the match.
I don't know why you'd do that at this point since you're doing very well. You're even ahead of my team in the standings. With that said, if you do decide to sell these guys, do it before you play me.

it is a good idea, but ultimately might not be as sound as it probably is now.
Well I'd hope he gets man of the match. I mean ultimately he faced 24 shots in total and only let in one goal. Be that luck or home pitch advantage, he still performed very well in that situation. I can't wait to see how he progresses over time.
I wouldn't do it this season. I'd probably only do it if I promoted and had no chance to compete, in one or two seasons for now.
He definitely deserved it; I just wish my team didn't put him in the position to be able to earn it.
