true. true, It was my fault on the last one as I completely underestimated znovitske, played most of my 2nd line, got one shot on target, compared to his seven, and tied 1:1. Yes I got VERY lucky today.
I was wondering about that, I noticed a rather significant drop in your team strength. Oh well, you're still high in the standings.
In other news, the Death Munchers have actually had a nice start to the season. Only giving up 4 goals in 9 games might be a record for me, and that was before the acquisition of my new center defensive pairing. Hopefully I can keep up the good play, or at least get lucky enough to finish the season near the top of the standings.

Yeah I picked up a 660 OVR( my best player atm) CD right at the end of the league cup last season, and ever since it seems like hes the anchor of my team now, when I watch a replay hes always making a defensive save so I'm very glad I picked him up, at a reasonable 11.8 mil too. Most of my players I have trained after getting off of the market when they had about 400 OVR(a couple of seasons ago that was the shiz!) and have had to train them from there, so buying someone who was already trained was a bit different for me.
Yeah, I did the same thing when I promoted up here. I bought some 500 OVRs and thought my team was so great! Haha, then I realized that my best players would be backups on most of the top teams in our league. But I'm slowly crawling my way up, but I'm focusing on facilities and stadium a lot in soccer.
I picked up 8 of my current starters during my first season in II.1 or at the end of the previous season (season 4); two of them I had pulled earlier from my sports academy; the other three are my two CF's and RD. Basically, I found a bunch of 15 year olds with good qualities and similar OR (after correcting for OR inflation) and focused on my training facilities. Now I have a team rating above 80 and have a chance at promoting within the next few season, using the mostly the same players that originally struggled to make the top 14 in II.1.
That's essentially what I'm trying to do. When I get my training to 14 or 15, I'll start buying players again to do a rebuild of sorts. But until then, I'll settle for barely scraping the top ten for a few seasons.
Well, the Water Pumps dropped. I feel like this is a Final Destination movie, and I'm just sitting here wondering who is going to die (or drop) next.
So when you drop I get your money right? It's only fair that we put each others names down. Agreed?
Somewhat disappointed in the Typhoons loss today, but perfectly understandable when you forget that a player is suspended and you're team settings are all blank. I believe I had a defensemen taking corner kicks...

Yeah, because I have a lot of money... >_> I'll donate my backup goalie to you. He's a 370 OR. He'll fit in great.
Goalie you say! Seeing as I currently do not have a back up goalie, I will take him. You know after saying that my goalie is going get injured tomorrow. Probably be something like while intoxicated in public, stubbed his pinkie toe. Injured for 15 days. >.<
There's probably some little elf who does the injury reports hiding out in some small back room reading this and saying "oh just you wait. *typing noises* Merry Christmas."

Speaking of goalies, I've been trying to get my goalie prospect and third string goalie some experience by playing in winnable games and friendlies since last season, and he still only has 3 experience. Do goalies just not gain experience, or do I need to sabatoge my defense so he actually sees some shots against these teams?
I was under the impression that playing in the match yielded experience. Apparently the tougher the match more exp the player will leave. From the guide, "the more difficult the matches are, the more experience the player gains." I interpret that as the more shots seen the more experience gained, which is logical. But could it also be alluding to the competitive nature of the game? Scores like 1-0, 0-0 and so on. Lastly, sabotaging your defense might actually yield the results you're looking for (I see it as instead of playing a match against a team who would make your defense look like children and shoot more on goal, you purposely allow them the shots).
My opinion.
My opinion.

I must be on the naughty list. That same elf waits until it's training camp time for my team, then sabotages my top prospects. Stupid elves.
Naughty naughty little workers. Maybe we can buy them off with cookies and illegal fruity, lactose intolerant growth spurt drugs.
I suppose that means I should break out my 2-4-4 formation with no CF's, CM's, or CD's...
