I'm happy that I met my goal of not ending up in the relegation round. Next season, I'm shooting for top 10.
Also, I agree with this being an excellent learning experience. Coming from a league with 4 competitive teams to a league with almost 20 is A LOT more fun, too.
The Torpedos seem to be a week away from folding. Hopefully they can return in time. The Death Munchers have a good chance at the top 10. With three teams leaving, one likely demoting, and one or two teams promoting that could be fairly competitive, they should be in that range. Shooting for the top 8 might be a more ambitious but attainable goal.
I suppose that would be a better goal, as I was so close to top 10 this season. My only worry is I won't be able to improve my team much this season as I have stadium and facility updates to do. Regardless, I should be able to increase my position in the standings.
Agreed. Every game is tough. I lost some games to much weaker teams and it certainly makes the season fun.
I would have had 10th place if you took care of manager-less Safado in the last game of the season! ha
yeah its always disheartening to see a team leave a good league. anybody know why it seems to happen so much?
The Dancing Meatwads folded in season 7, just before being relegated to II.1. I don't think that defunct teams that are expected to start next season in tier II or higher will become a noname team (assuming that is what was being talked about).
Jonak is still pretty good. I'll probably sell my other forward next year. I wonder if I don't make a mistake but it's time to make space for the young.
I think the system is trying to tell me something about not playing tournament matches on very high, even against no manager teams -_-... yeah, I lost twice to safado* and wyckoff* in a row *sigh* lesson learned
Hopefully Smart People win the League Cup so they have to spend energy on the Superleague Cup next year.
