موضوع: WAAA Why did I lose (football)

I think i have a problem with tatics against this team (i've asked explaination in this topic the last match )
The question is the same: what is my mistake??

You did nothing wrong... as such.

your opposition had home advantage and played higher importance which gives him a boost. As soon as the 2nd half started and you increased your importance your team played better and tied the game.

However...

He played a defense heavy game which helped him, and you only played 3 in defense, which I personally never recommend people do. If you want to play a 5 man midfield you'd be better to play 4 in D and 1 attacker. That's really the only main issue that I would consider a "mistake".

Ok thanks! I've tried the 3 defenders and it has worked since the last three match... i think that against a team worse than me i can't use a 4-5-1... it will be very defensive but against very good team is perfect! I will use 4-4-2 again

ok what really bothers me here is how poorly my team played (as in shooting only 4 times)
since this was my first lost this season and i've never changed my tactics can anyone give me an idea what i did wrong and what i need to change?

Come on, it's your first lost. You should be happy. Sometimes "better" team loses. It happens to all of us. Usually more than once per season. And as you can see in report, your opponent had more ball possession, 53,6% average. So I really don't see anything alarming here. There is also some randomness in this game, so your "poor" performance can be because of that alone.

Btw, you're wrapping your season pretty easy if you used only one tactic all the time.

thanks for the delay response... i already won the championship.. randomness (which seems to happen a lot) is the one thing the keeps bothering me.. I hate it and i dont think it matches real life

Oh, my bad. I really should read these topics more often. I hate it too, OK - I get that there can be a bit of it every now and then. But these red cards I'm having... 2 of my players have been send off in 3 matches, come on ffs...

And now 3 send-offs in four matches...

You have 8 wingers and virtually nothing in the center of the pitch. Extreme formations rarely work well.
