New server does not need to mean new teams. It might just be that old server is not good enough for the changes planned so they need a new capable server and the teams are just transferred there. So new server is not equal with new GE
PS: Meant to say more like what is planned for handball....
many managers will leave to S2... and in 5-6 season time, we will again have managers on S2 which will be unhappy because they registered after someone on top. And then S3? S4?... Not optimistic about this S2 and that changes

All teams starting from scratch with noone having that advantage of better facilites, better arena, better prospects and a lot more sponsors money? Of course lots of people will run to the second server. Bet your *** that I will and pretty much every other manager who didn't start during the first couple seasons.
The good thing about the second server is, it's going to be highly competitive from the start compared to the original server where a few managers took advantage of the mistakes of others. So all the accomplishments on the original server will pretty much mean nothing as long as you don't proove that you can be successfull on the second server. The new server will be the "in thing" to play and the first server will dry out on teams and get shut down after a few seasons.
In short, you can just start all over on the original server. Same difference.

Sure new and rookie managers want create new server. I'm sure there will be more managers to want this new server than not to want. But, imo they should listen to "old" managers. Simple guestion: Do you guys develop this game for the money or only because hockey is passion for you?
I respect your opinion and I understand that point of view. But you are aware that after 7 or 8 or 9 seasons on S2 there will be many managers that "got there later" or they "did not get advantage of someones mistake", and then again what will be solution? Server 3 and new clean start?
Overall this move would be very risky for PPM office cause old server could become somehow "empty", but also there are many managers that do no want to start from zero (not only those who started on 1st day) so there could be situation to have 40% managers on old server, 60% on new one and maybe 20% of those on both (those % are only example mentioned). And who will profit from less competition, more noname teams to play on both servers and less managers in community? I believe nobody...
Why not improve this S1? Make League Cup for lower leagues (on Sunday) and also int.cup for those lower leagues (III-IV) and give those managers chance to get more OTR, play with int.clubs and have more competition, matches and money? It is pure suggestion, and I believe there is more those "little" things that could help.
And in the end - I am pretty sure that in 8-10 season from now, If I open new team on this S1 - I would build up my way to I.1 league eventually. Managers have to understand that with time, hard work, good manager decisions - they can create strong club and make their way up there, just take step by step, win by win against teams in your range and managers from your experience - and in time those on top will become someone you can cope with, you cant expect someone will create team in 3 seasons like someone did in 13. It is just unreal.. Time and patience is answer...

still waiting on PPMteam response... is it what huikas said or what is everybody else talking about?
Didn't they do this change a while ago (4th, 5th season of hochey)? I belive the game is just getting bigger and they need better servers. No one will start over

George, unfortunately you're wrong... Read the PPM team general discussion thread.
HC! U are right... interesting to see how this end up

Do you have any clue how the UFA system works? The costs for the top teams are increasing season after season, I'm pretty sure in near future most of the top teams will pay 1000M+ per season just to renew the contracts of their players.
