if newcomers have so many benefits with otr and bigger prices, and so and so, then the only explanation is that all the wise manager started the game in the first season

While I love playing PPM I have said that the good old teams will always get better faster than the new teams. This is a mathematical fact. The old teams will always have players at 2-3 times the OR that the next level of teams will have (won't even mention new teams). I have suggested and will suggest again that a salary cap be instituted which will force managers to make decisions which will limit just how good their teams are. As it stands now the top teams just get better and better , faster and faster. Despite the thinking of the founders that player salaries would cause monetary difficulties for the top teams, this has been proven to be false. A salary cap (based on league level and country size) would actually allow for more intense competition while increasing the need for crucial decision making by the managers. Right now as it stands there are 20 New York Yankees and the rest of us.

Yes, but if you have a salary cap then there needs to be parity among ALL div 1 leagues.

ie. Czeck republic Div 1 gets the same salary cap, money winnings etc as Slovakia Div 1, England Div 1 or even Australia Div 1.

Many may ask why, and the answer is simple... winners of all those Div 1 leagues can go into the CL and compete with each other, so having parity would ensure a truly fair chance on an international level.

Heck, they SHOULD have that in place right now, but don't.

I don't even bother trying to advance in CL, any point I win is a bonus, really, I don't give a damn, only the income is important to me, as the rest is only a dream, in all those years I only went to next round one time

Problem with a salary cap is that it won't affect us right now.

No teams are near having players as strong as they can get, so a salary cap is pointless at this moment.

Yep, i'd play all games with my B team as i don't stand a chance against the teams from bigger countries thanks to the unbalanced system that heavily favors them.

new teams seem to have some to do list which gives them a one time payment of some kind, true ? cause I don't even know lol

it's called the tutorial and it is always displayed on top of the page. In case he closed it, he can re-activate it in team settings.

Of course it would affect now. But as players grow stronger teams will have to give up on other players. So the question is do you have a few superstars or a bunnch of very good players. That is exactly the type of decision making that does not take place today as the money is endless for the top teams

I don't think there will be any changes in that session. Problem is, that strong teams won't give up on their huge billions so that they can compete with those few strongest/richest.
I don't even bother to catch up I or II league any more. CL or some other cup - that's just a dream almost 90% of users can dream about due to their late start or failed starting decisions.
Since 3rd season there are same clubs at strongest 10, and if you ask me, it's to late to change anything to make it more competitive.
[hockey_team=18200] - this guy for example has stronger team than half of national teams - his transactions are enormous.
He has 12 NT players, that get bonuses and gets stronger every day.
I would for example change the limit of NP from team - so even strongest teams can give just 2-3 players to NT.
It's ridiculous that one team give 12 players.
Imagine U -18 NT - this guys will have all his team players in NT

Everywhere you look there are people who are better than you. You can either fight, even if it looks like you can never catch them, or give up in advance. Here is exactly the same, team that you mentioned is the one who the rest have to try and catch it. It looks like an impossible task, but I won't give up ... even if some things are out of proportion. After all, it's only a game. I for example am following small goals of my own and try to be better every season. We can't all be the best, but we can all try.

Amen Klopzhizh. I am not worried about who is better than me, just trying to do better for myself. Set little goals, and strive for them.

I just wanted to say that I don't think there will be any changes in hockey. There are many things that could improve to make it more realistic, but whole organizations is throwing their effort into other things.
Every system is good for some and bad to others - same on PPM.
and still i think newbies doesn't have same chances than all of us who started first season.
No matter how someone who started yesterday tries, he will never catch up top 50 or top 100 teams
