Has anyone asked other managers (from other countries) would they like to play in their national league ? No. It's the way it is. I didn't like it after Beta, some people did, and I can understand why PPM has taken that course.
One thing is certain though - it gets a little boring playing always with same people in same league. For instance, I know what will Serbian I league look like each season 5 seasons from now.
Maybe something should be done, maybe not, and as I sad - I would understand if they don't change that system.

They have to have a flag and a list of player names by country. So it should be feasible to have a national team, a national cup, a pointer to the league structure where teams from the country play and a forum.
The league structure would still exist just like now, but it wouldn't be tied to the NT and other attributes of a country.

Handball coming out soon, will be interesting to see what season 1 league structure will be... Maybe an opportunity to pilot something

I'm eagerly awaiting it. Probably I will end up hockey account because of handball, but we will see...
Not to be stubborn but all I really want is to have our own individual league, heck if its one level I'll take it.
Even with the downsides I would happily get a league with less teams anyday.

Please don't assume that the vast majority of Australians like having our own league. This is a game, designed to be fun, yet for at least a few of us it's lost a LOT of that thanks to the PPMs insane rule about leagues being tied to national teams.
ie. Read what wjloewen said below.

My guess is it will be exactly the same as the hockey and soccer games.
I guess there could be a very easy solution!! If the developers agree (and I guess they should if they are honest) then it's very unfair to the older teams of smaller countries that they get much less sponsor money just only because there are less teams playing in their country than in other bigger countries. I can't understand this fact.
So I'm hoping developers will change the system how the sponsor money is calculated in a way that also older teams from smaller countries could get the same amount of money like older teams of bigger countries. undependent of the number of teams a country has.

i totally agree. what is interesting for big teams in small countrys? yes, it is champions league and CWC. How should they have a chance with less sponsor money? right, there is no chance. will smaller countries grow if it stays like that? NO!
But would it be fair to compete if the sponsormoney was the same? In some leages coming first is sooo easy, why should they get as much as teams that have to fight for it?
Why should they not be able to compete with the top teams just because everyone else sucks and also due to the fact that there are few managers in the league. Two things that are out of their own control...
Like you said, if the league is sooo easy, then they only have international matches to compete in. But the huge difference in income makes it impossible for the small league top teams to compete with the other top teams.

if history taught us anything, it's not impossible. see who won Champions League last season.
