I play in Australia. The VERY WORSE thing PPM ever did was give us our own Australian league. It's all but ruined the game for most of us.

Do you have the numbers for us? I just talk from what I have experienced. When we went from 3 to 2 leagues, I should have gotten an increase in sponsorship money approximately 15-20% higher then last season (if we still had 3 league levels). In stead it decreased with 5-10% (Yes 1* and 5* offers also play a big part here).
Those numbers were also in percentage almost the same as decrease in prize money. So I hope you can shed some light on this.

I heard it's about 10% for each level. If you agree that first division teams deserve more money than 4th division teams because of the higher level of competition, then you would want to apply the same logic when it comes to the competition levels in different countries.
this is much closer to the truth. That's all I will say on that subject.
PPM needs to figure out that a league pyramid and a country are not the same.
I like our league and national team in Aus! But then again I'm in league II of it..
Well, yes and no. What we wanted was for all countries to be able to have a National Team. The fact that it required you to FORCE us to have our own league was PPMs choice, not ours. We NEVER wanted an Australian league. We made that clear from day 1, even before we got the National Team.

Errr we had Australian players BEFORE we had a National Team and our own league.
A National Team should not require a country to have its own league. All countries have players, regardless of whether they have a league or NT of their own, so allowing all nations a NT should not be difficult.

please don't say "We" unless you have actual evidence that this is what most Aussies would like. As far as I know, "we" is you and maybe one or two others who are present on the forums.
