A question. The guide says the player rating is influenced by 'his' chemistry. Is it really the individual chemistry (which imho makes no sense) or rather the team average chemistry?
I disagree. While chemistry should be a team thing, i believe the PPM GE sees each players chemistry as unique.
It's like in hockey.
Anyway, check soccer guide, there is a specific statement about chemistry.

I just read the entire guide and can't seem to find this statement you refer to.
Maybe you would be so kind as to find it for us.

Thats what I thought. While it should be true for the team strength - at least there is the average shown on the team selection page - I'm not sure concerning player ratings.
The english guide says player ratings are influenced by 'his experience'.

It depends on which "rating" you refer to.
The match rating figures... from the guide:
The displayed rating is the combination of his experience, chemistry, energy and attributes needed for the given position.
Also, from extensive research done by different people, a players individual chemistry appears to directly affect their player ratings.

That doesn't make much sense to me. The new rating was introduced to make it easier to actually see the possible performance of a player. When you have to include the team chemistry, then there would be a random factor, which is much more difficult to understand in the end.
Also in the news from Feb 15, there was no mentioning of team chemistry at all.

In the section 'Players', nothing is mentioned about chemistry. But there is a paragraph in 'Line-up' that covers chemistry. So I guess it is a line-up/team thing.
But there is also the point 'Rating of a player' (in the player section) where it is said that the rating is influenced by 'his ... chemistry'.
So, if you take it literally, team strength (or performance) is based on average chemistry while the player rating is based on the individual chemistry. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Agree, it's a big confusing huh?
All research i've seen suggests that 100 chemistry adds approx 10% bonus across all attributes. Same goes for 100 experience.

For a induvidual players rating there is that players chem that is considered, just try using a player with 100chem along with just low-chem players and you see the 100%chem player still has the same rating
Yes, I was referring to the displayed rating. And if that is affected by the individual chemistry (as the guide and the research indicate), that would make no sense to me.
What is individual chemistry supposed to mean. And if the performance on the field is based on the team chemistry then it is just an additional unnecessary factor that complicates the rating evaluation.

Absolutely. There really is no such thing as individual chemistry, because the very essence off chemistry is how well 2 or more players work well together.
Yes, it is confusing.
Can someone official confirm this (not the 10% of course)? Vlady?

also if 'individual chemistry' would influence the player rating it would be the only value that you cannot scout.
I always assumed that team chemistry influenced the individual rating. I believe Vlady once confirmed that chemistry does influence the rating. I also assumed that 100 chemistry gives a 20% bonus, but that may be wrong. I had heard that somewhere in hockey....
