statistics of the match is slightly curved, for example, all corners are shoots in/off, but they are not recorded as such.
I have striker with 77 attack, 70 shooting, 45 techniqie, 50 speed, and he have only 18 goals, (62 shots on target and 120 shots wide).
Other player, who is golascorer in the league in this moment, is 54 attack, 70 shooting, 40 technique 40 speed. His stats are 24 goals (63 shots on target and 81 shots wide).

What about his exp, pass and heading?
Looking at real football, a quality of pass is essence of football, isn't it? It should be there, also...
I think that there are different chances, how that you would explain that when you play with no strikers you almost can't score, but still have nice ball % in attack?

Difference in exp explains everything...
Plus to that is that Furnadziev (other player) plays as up-forward for his team and other striker who is in partnership with him is playing somehow defensively (he is brought back to support midfield more)

Again 0 offsides, now on both sides!!!
There must be some flaw in the engine regarding offsides. Probably if someone doesn't have any defender in the line-up, he can't make any offside. That must be an error because players love all over the pitch, or they don't?! I don't know what to think when see matches like these...

How do you reckon they differentiate which chance is hard or easy? The place of the ball? The amount of defenders? Whether it is a free kick or even penalty?
Do you really think the ppm admins rank every possible chance and have that ranking in the formula?
I seriously don't. A chance is a chance, regardless of position, place, how many defenders, etc. Ultimately it all comes down to the shooters skills vs those of the goalie (given the shot is not blocked, etc.).

I doubt that I can give you the right answer there. Maybe Vlady can.

I would also have to hope its a lot more complicated than shot versus goalie unless you only have the goalie to beat. Any attackers and defenders in the area have to be accounted for in the calculation. Defenders because they have a chance to deflect the ball. Attackers because the have a chance to force the keeper to cover the cross. I'm sure there are other factors as well.
when I have a friendly game scheduled on a certain date and for some reason the oponent cannot or cancels the game, I should alsways get a notification of that, correct?
I am pretty sure I had a match scheduled on 20 April, but today I found out that it's open and I cannot find any notification of that in my team news of the last few weeks....
