no idea where you're getting that 41 million ahead on facilities.
only 7.3 million of my advantage came from the education and medical center. That'd still leave me with close to a 58 million in advantage.
I also didn't even factor in the remainder of this year's sponsorship money (which i'd imagine is significantly higher than yours since it's the highest in my division and on par with many teams in I.1) or ticket revenues (currently 1,069 average attendance higher than you with at least 12 more home games this season = an additional ~$5 million advantage between now and season's end).
...
Look. I'm not trying to measure dicks here man. I'm just saying that if you think you'll just lickity split catch up to teams that are ahead of you in construction, you're just wrong. I don't have any delusions about being able to catch up to the division I.1 teams any time soon, there's nothing wrong with that.

I have the feelings some people strategy will be to collect "cheap" assets now and make "big" money at the end of the season because some teams will regret to have sold players and will need them "back" at premium cost.
At one point i think i will collect a few players myself
PS: my player got a bid too. so i suspect market will be active as normal.

I stated well. Won my first friendly. My team was very obedient on tactics. I asked them to shoot up close and they "only" attempted 30% 3pt.
Well I think it is a communication problem. They may have understood that I wanted them to force the opponent to shoot from close distance as they only attempted 17% 3pt

Damn, my team made 50% of their three pointers. If they could even come close to that every game, Ima dominate.

The one thing that needs to be upgraded as fast as possible is the sports academy. If you have the best sports academy in the world (including good sports managers), then you will have a the chance to obtain significant advantage, though maybe not as significant due to the difference between starting players in basketball and handball.
As for the sports managers, one possibility is to upgrade the education center fast; the other possibility is to spend a significant amoung of money on sports managers, likely once ever one or two seasons.

The training facility and regeneration facility do not need to upgraded to fast, though it could still hurt if you delay too much. HR is also important at this point, though one level may not make so much of a difference.
honestly... I'm not really looking forward to it. I was hoping that as it got closer, I'd get more into it, but I still just... don't... care about basketball here.
Like soccer, I'll probably go through the motions building my team (for the future benefit of the U.S national teams), but I really don't anticipate obsessing over basketball like i did/do about handball.
I mean I've got spreadsheets detailing anticipated income streams (by day) for the entire season for handball. In basketball, I'll probably just "build when I notice I have enough money." LOL.
The funny thing is that I'm 6'8" and I played basketball my entire life growing up. It and soccer were a huge part of my childhood and adolescence. Yet when it comes to these games, I'm *whomp whomp* over them.

I wonder if I can win against anyone but saint2e... I'm 3/4 in friendlies but all wins have been against him and my lone loss against someone else.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow, at 17:30 since the morning friendly is against him once again

funny you say that. Basketball was the most anticipated for me. I didnt get the feeling neither and i am still yet to be very motivated. I think the draft thing was a big turn down on motivation in general. But Im pretty sure soon i will be greatly enjoying. Other factor that plays in my lack of enthusiast s that the game was released incomplete. Guess i am waiting for it to finish before i get excited.
I think the height will make it very interesting as .. imagine one training a player to a great PG and ends up he grows and are a SG or even a SF???? it changes everything!!!!
And I loved they brought back the Player Rate. That is the only reason why i wasnt planning to quit soccer and the lack of it my biggest disappointment in handball. People were getting too clueless and quitting. Still hope they implement it for handball

is anyone else hating that there is friendlies and league games on the same day? do I have to login twice a day to change my tactics/lineup? I might be done with basketball very soon if that's the case, not to mention being thrown in d4...
i think that could potentially kill basketball
have not calculated yet, but in other sports if one play VH on friendlies all matches they spend 20% energy!!!!
To prevent lose attendance now teams cant just play on very low and low at all times. Players will lose too much energy if one does not buy Pro or log in in a short window of opportunity.
not very thrilled but they found another way to push people to buy Pro packs.
good thing is that basketball has some new changes
1. player rate !!! yeah!! i think we all love that from soccer
2. player growth.
3. shorter season
4. league matches every day: less boring
I guess the minimum they could do is have an option to chose how intensity one wants to play friendlies, allow then to change a couple of times a season and then 1 credit or so to change more. choose to not use the feature would be "free" at all times.
with that at least is not pretty much mandatory to have pro to enjoy basktball

meh... I mean friendlies are 1/5 the energy loss. So if you play all of them with "normal" league tactics, you'll only lose 7 energy (assuming you play 70 of them in the season). That's not really that bad.
If you assume that other teams are doing the same, then you're not losing much ground.
That definitely is a minor advantage to having the propack though I guess (so you can set your planning and have different tactics).
