This mornings' game was super depressing. I played a team with no manager.
Shooting 11
Passing 12
Rebounds 10
Defense 11
Total 11
I managed to squeak out a 4 point win but my team didn't get even one of the 3 stars. My team sucks but obviously PPMs' rating system is effed up.

I'm trying to guage who to keep and who to sell based on how quickly I can raise up stronger players. Consider this guy:
Age: 18 OR: 287 AVQ: 52 5/6 Height: 210
Skills(Q): 40(61) 35(42) 37(43) 39(43) 33(49) 47(53) 56(72)
Those are scouted figures. What do you think about him. Keep or sell?

He's a great offensive player though his defense isn't that good. So pretty much it depends what you need on your team
keep. i think selling 290+ this season is a mistake
Entirely up to you, but from what I've seen on the market, at least on days after sponsorship money is given, players of that overall tend to go for around 1 mil. I think if you find the right time to sell him, meaning not as many players being sold at that time, you could get a fair price for him. Now if he's a crucial player to your current lineup or even a starter then keep him and see where you fall as the season comes to an end. You can always sell him later in the season if you feel the need to.
I thought I'd return to this topic from a while back just to see how things turned out.
You definitely came roaring up the OTR rankings late in the season, but I still ended up beating you out there. I imagine that I'll probably do better than you with sponsorship offers (due to my higher OTR, league level, arena size, and HR dept). If you want, we can compare after everything's done over PM.
But I gotta admit... overall you came out WAY ahead of where I thought you would. You've made quite a bit of money selling players this season eh? Close to $100m by my estimates.
I still say it would've taken you several seasons to catch up (if not for the x-factor of selling players), but congrats on those sales, and for advancing to division II.
Now the hard(er) work begins lol. I don't think division II.3 is as strong as the other two II divisions but it's still a bit more competition than division III. Good luck in the coming season man.

As a result of that discussion several weeks ago, I've actually found myself rather indifferent about basketball this season. I figure if I stay in division IV, I'm not really that worried.
If it worked for you in handball, I guess it might not be a horrible in thing in basketball.

Haha yeah you just beat me out in OTR. I've been keeping up with your team and comparing. Also I'll definitely like pm you later comparing how things shook out. Our different team paths interest me.
In regards to selling players, I figured I absolutely had to as much as it hurts lol. I'll feel better once all the money is in the bank though aha. I looked at my new league and it helps it isn't one if the best. I figured looking at the other teams that I should at the very least finish top 6(don't expect to win) with my team which isn't bad at all.
Finally, not promoting sucks but it isn't a death sentence. Of course I try to promote every season but It just didn't happen. So I had to make the most of the situation. If you don't promote in basketball, you'll just have to change your plans a bit

This is really not the time for injury.
my starting PG just finished healing from a 5 days injury and 1 day later he's back at the hospital again for 6 more days

That sucks. All my injuries have been on the B or C team. Any more injuries in my locker room...I won't have subs left. I hope it doesn't get that bad for you.
