Raised my ticket price to $250 and sold out my 1,600 arena. Did not sell out when I tried in the regular season. Anyone else try raising price for playoffs? Tempted to try $300...
300 seems like you need to be beastly to sell out.
granted I'm only in division IV, but I set mine to 300 after selling out my 800 seats in the regular season at 250, and I barely cleared 400 seats filled in my first home playoff game.
I'd say that if you've just started selling out at 250, 300 is likely a losing proposition for you.

I've been running $300 all season long and it seems to be working well enough. I'd recommend trying it out since it is the playoffs.
My best PF came back from training camp and played 1 game, now he's out for 10 days with an ankle fracture. As you can tell, things are going really well out here...
I was selling 90% and maybe 30% of cap on friendlies at $200 regular season. Bumped it to $250 for the playoffs...and there has not been a drop in attendance.
I think it sort of depends on stadium size, too. I haven't touched my stadium, still at 400 seats, and it sells out at $300.
Finally getting 1000 people for friendly games at $100 a ticket.
Interesting note with playoff games and the $250 and $300 difference. First game was at $250 and it sold out (1200/1200). Next game decided to bump it up to $300 and attendance plummeted to 867/1200. Didn't think there would end up being that much of a difference.

Every time i venture into the market i end up walking away shaking my head. All i want is a center, ya know, a player that has some jumps, agr enough to hold his own and has the tec to score and not foul....
But what do i find? Commonly centers with high aggression, some jumps, and HALF the tec of the agr. 80 AGR 38 TEC. What good is a player that fouls out before halftime? UUUGHHHHH. Do people not read the guide?

They do and it says that technique has small influece for centers.
But it says technique is important to avoid fouls. So its contradiction when we have to train high agression but technique is not very important for centers..
Technique: This attribute has a number of uses. Technique represents the ability of a player to dribble with the ball or to deceive the opponent with fake moves. Technique is also used for close range shots (lay-ups and slam dunks).
Aggressiveness: Aggressiveness is used mainly by power forwards and centers who come into contact with the opposing players most often. A center who cannot establish a physical advantage is not very useful. However, it also has a down side. Players with high aggressiveness rating and poor technique commit more fouls.
I wouldn't say centers fouling out every game a small influence. Additionally, tec is used for close range scoring, by all players. Unless of course you're as blessed as i am and have a center that truly believes he's a point guard...drives me nutz.
