Is no one interested in running for GM this year? What happens if we have no candidate?

I'm considering running, but I've neither scouted enough players nor do I think I have the knowledge of soccer tactics to be any good (plus, running senior teams in two sports seems like potentially too much work). If having me as GM is better than what happens if no one signs up, though, I'll probably do it.

Put your name in. Often we get foreign n00bies put their name in wherever there is no competition and that is devastating. You've done well in other sports and at the very least it will be good to have someone active. I hope slavko runs again but if not it'd be good to have your name in there.

Well, I'm been elected. At least for this season, I'm going to have to check the roster in depth to get a legitimate feel for who should play our meaningful games. I've scouted no one at all who could even start to challenge for a roster spot, so we're going with what we have.

Friendlies have been filled for my guaranteed term, at least, so we'll have games. I played the last roster we played last season for this week's game, as I didn't have time to do more than set the tactics (good thing I found time for that, even, as it was set at VH ). I'll hopefully have some time next week to look closely at the roster and hopefully come up with some solid plans.

All said, I still hope I'm elected back in next season, as managers who are voted out cannot sign up again, and I fear we'll wind up with someone who won't even care enough to check the tactics for friendlies (or, worse, will purposely choose bad tactics).

Well, there's something I didn't know.

I played our first two friendlies with our best players (which I have now analyzed) playing at normal, as chemistry is very low throughout our roster, but it turns out that energy drops much faster in soccer's NTs than in hockey. Some of our guys have already lost a point of energy. In hockey, I can play normal for about 8-10 friendlies before anyone drops in energy. That's a disappointment.

I'll be staying on top of energy usage the rest of the friendly season, so hopefully I can mitigate this error and still enter the competitive season without an energy problem.

Just an FYI before anyone goes yelling at me about this.

All three our NT teams today won with shutouts.

U20 win was totally unexpected, coz played with very low against one of the best defence in the group.

Voting for Andrew (Wild II.1) to take over the national team for this upcoming season... I feel he has more time to offer towards running it then I do.

Hey bud your missing some important results here! If your having trouble making games try adding an assistant to aid you.
