We have a last game before the world championship also we have some news about the team. How you sawed first half of the season played more players U25 then older. Young players getting older and we have to give to them some experience between older players. Is it good for future. Last half of the season played players what’s going to play world championship this season.
First tournament waiting for our goalie Juán Dow from Razorback Thugs. He was talented all he’s career and right now is time to give him chance in the big game.

Do you have proof for this statement? I remember tests done many years ago that showed training shooting for defensemen leads to an increase in goals, though not as much as for forwards.
Training for shooting on defensemen is a relative thing. If his training percentage in shooting is high (80+), I say , why not? However, if his training percentage is low, it would seem to be a waste of time that could be spent on higher percentage attributes. The lower number of attributes you train on, the faster they increase!!!! Train the basic three attributes first, then make judgement calls on the rest to see if their improvement will be worth the time taken away from the basic three. Personally, the lower an attribute's training percentage is below thw lowest of the basic three, the less likely I am to train on it. Like most investments, the most time and money should go the the ones that give the biggest return on that investment.
Yeah, that's how I thought it worked and the training philosophy I've followed for about the last 25 seasons. This is why Patty16's statement that it's useless needs some evidence to back it up before anyone should stop training shooting on defensemen completely.
If that comment is right, then your previous statement of shooting being useless on defensemen is wrong. Either shooting has some value for defense but less than for forwards, or it's useless. It can't be both.
I agree with this statement as well. I find there to be some worth in training my d-men in shooting.
Very unscientific study of defense and shooting. I looked at 2 defense on my team. First has a shooting value of 75. The second has a value of 478. They played almost the same amount of regular season games. (31 vs 32) first one had 3g 13a for 16p on 41 shots. The second one had 5g 14a for 19p on 25 shots. So the extra 400 for shooting got 2 extra goals and 1 extra point. The second was much more efficient shooter- 5g on 25 shots vs 3g on 41 shots.
Doesn't sound like I got a good return on the extra 400 shooting.
However the first player was on the top 3 lines all season. The second played mostly on the fourth line.
Interesting enough 7 of my top 8 defense all scored between 3 and 5 goals and had between 16 and 30 points. The 8th scored 2g 3a for 5 points.
Very unscientific but at first glance training defense on shooting does not appear to be worth it.

You don't have to train them much I train at 25 Percent or the d level of 1000 Dec and 250 shot.
I don't think shooting percentage can be used as a reasonably good indication of the importance of the shooting skill. Players in powerplay lines get better chances to score, and as far as I know we do not get the statistics of the number of shots of individual players on powerplay. Only goals.
