Grats, Team USA. It's been a remarkable achievement, considering the number of active managers.
And speaking of active managers, I'm sure you've all noticed Smart People have crossed out. There are at least 2 players on that team, Bryant and Sharpe, who I'm sure could make the senior team one day. Wouldn't it be a good idea to save them (by adding to the national team)? Am I writing it, because I'd be definitely interested once they are on the market? You bet! Of course I'd have a very remote shot at them, considering the state of my finances, so I hope this cancels part of the blame I'm sure I'd otherwise earn for this message
Go hockey Team USA in 2020!

They were definitely among the better players in their age group, but it's too late to get Bryant and Sharpe from Smart People. They go to the market if you add them to a national team before the team folds, but if you add them afterwards, they stay on their original team (which can be okay for a really old player that isn't going to improve any more anyway).
I don't think there was room on the senior national team to add them when Smart People folded.

I thought it can be done until the team changes the name to team noname...
Thanks for the correction.
ps. If I have to close my business with any player previously on the U-20/U-17 USA roster, you have my guarantee that I'll let you guys know about it ahead enough to have time to do sth about that player.

ps. Actually what I'd do, is to place these players on the TM, after consulting with the current GM of the senior team about the best time of the day / day of the week for the US managers to have a shot at them. Followed with a post here.
Honestly, I think all of the US managers might do sth similar before they last login (I would, even though I'm Polish).

That would be helpful!
Actually, some of the good teams that have closed down operations recently have done that. Montana Miners and Sticky Toads did. Smart People at least gave some notice too. The problem is that national teams can't remove players outside of the first 2 weeks of the season, so such notice doesn't necessarily help if there's no room left at that time.

Yes, that's a pity. And I think it would serve well the game, if it was changed. Of course many other things might, as well, but as we know for several seasons now, not gonna happen. Too bad, because the game really had the potential.
Oh well, I could brag without end. Thanks for your patience.
