HA! Mine wasn't "random" to begin with considering I had one of the strongest teams at the time and still do if you look at homegrown without the daytrading that goes on up there in those "high chairs" of D1. Just watch out for the next NC winner to be from D2.

I had the highest OR team during a month or so, now lake is on my level, but he ran 2 camps already, and i didn't have any. I also don't do daytrading. Just bought 1 player in 4 seasons.

Yeah I didnt mean to categorize all of D1 as daytraders, and yeah you gotta pretty bawwss team, but dangit dude I was just trying to releive the tension and you've gotta come and make personal jabs at muh team not cool bruh

Its funny... when it comes to this game I really only care about money. So I actually judge my teams (in all sports) primarily based on how far along their infrastructure is.

Thats really the only reason I care about how well my team does - because the better they do, the more money coming my way. Otherwise, I'd be fine with losing every game lol.

Most every tactical decision I make is related to how I can increase my profits long term. While I've noticed that other teams seem to emphasize "winning" just for the sake of the competitive aspect and "being the best."

Every loss I see as a personal failure. It means that I did not manage or prepare well enough.

Your way is depressing lol. As soon as you get into division II and I, you're going to feel like a failure reasonably often.

I see every loss as lost money and every win as money gained. Nothing more, nothing less.

I got a the second worthwhile player from my sports academy this season, Alfred Stanton (Dustin Stanton's brother). He has an unscouted quality of 99 for speed, but otherwise average (but not bad) qualities.

Low OR and AVG Q doesnt look good.

The OR and AVQ (79) are about the highest I ever get from my sports academy. He won't make the national team or even start for my team for 5-10 seasons, if at all, but he's better than nothing.

Oh. I just see the AQ at 65.

For what it's worth, I see his AvQ as unscouted 77.

My SA has been miserable this year. I don't think I've had a single SA pull this season that's been better than 2 stars and only 1 draftee to date has been better than 230 OR (Joel King , who still pretty much sucks because of the shitty star rating he had). If not for the draft, I probably wouldn't have a single 16 year old on my team this time next season.

I actually just made similar comments earlier today in the "draft" thread... but I'm really wondering if the random SA pulls have been handicapped somehow with the advent of the draft.

I was thinking this year was going to be a great class of 15 year olds for me because I was getting such decent talent from the draft. But I've just gotten NOTHING outside of it.

I Draftet yesterday not a bad winger with OR over 320 and AQ over 70. Will sell him once he hit the 400 OR mark.
