Q's VERY similar to my one guy Carney. Sadly I got him at like the very end of last season if i remember right... so his OR isn't what it could be.

Even though he's 16 and only 345 OR now, I wouldn't sell him ever. He's one that I'll be putting in his grave before I'm done with him.

well i told myself about not selling Tubbs and ended up selling.
Now i tell myself i wont ever sell Phelan. lets see how long it last ...

I'm gonna be building from within though. I don't have a single foreign starter and I dont plan to in the future. I want my team to be great on the backs of US born players. If I cant swing that, I dont want success at all.

Personal preference though.

you can potentially start 6 backs (3 on offense and 3 on defense)
cant see why you cant have a couple of foreign in there.

I played like that on soccer and i went nowhere. I used to rescue any good usa player in the market ...

I dont think any current 17yo will be in the USA team (at least not as starter) 3 to 4 seasons from now. Just because the next season 15, 16 yo will have advantage of team's training level 12+ as starting point.

If I ever pull a 350-400 back next season with same qualities as Tubbs or higher then i will keep him till at least he is free agent.

I think the chances to get a quality back is higher than any other position.


My last week of season pulls i think was the worst in the history of my team. good thing it was in the last week of season.

He may be better than womack specially if he loses CL because of your facilities being better.
both have the flaw of low shooting and probably will be better as defender.

but as i mentioned if i win the elections i wont add any players before posting the candidates.

Meh. As long as I continue to upgrade my arena and facilities I'll be fine. As it is, i trend to get anywhere from 2-3 very good players from the SA each season. That's enough to be sustainable long term. Plus while everyone else is spending millions on the market, I'll be putting that into infrastructure, which will repeat the cycle (better facilities, better players, reduced need to spend money on the market).

That also doesn't even start to talk about my cost savings from player expenses from not having a ton of foreign players.

Anyways, like i say... I'll probably never be the best team in division 1 like that, I'll be decent.

Lanky you gotta spend money to make money in this game. So you and I will take a wee bit longer to make it as a top 4 team in the USA. My long term goal is to compete on the international level

The series between the Cataclysm and the Last Place McGees is tied after 2 games. The series will be decided in a third match at The Faultline which was recently expanded to 4,250 seats.

Both games have been really close. I somehow managed to play my 21 year old back with ~64 energy as my pivot on defense yesterday. I hope that it doesn't cost me the series.

I've been happy with the performance of Mccullough and Fitzpatrick, my 2 300+ OR pulls who have played their first games of the year (except for one other exhibition game) for this series. My goaltenders have also been great so far.

I'd be happy if I unexpectedly manage to hang on to I.1 for a little longer, and I look forward to seeing how my team performs next season once energy resets and once all my younger players are better developed, wherever I end up.

Not sure if that will mean much because other teams will also have better developed players...

anyways, good luck. This is a tough series and I personally dont see you as favorite although home court advantage is huge factor

I had a lot of players that didn't have the ratios I wanted when I pulled or bought them. I meant that they will have those ratios next season as well as chemistry comparable to the players on other teams.

I might have won yesterday if not for the mistake on defense since I only lost by two goals. Both games have been close.

As an example, I finally have my goalie with correct ratio... so he will be much improved compared to this season when his ratio was off.

mojo pulled some high or and quality players too whose ratios needed to be corrected. They dhould be good by first weeks of season...

and im sure there are other examples of improved teams
