My best pull of the season 246OR 2* player. SA11 and 31% Youth training. Did I take the player. Hell ya! That is now the new line for worst player on the team.
Training camp had a 1.85 and a total of 7 players above 1.30 which is nice. Darron Marrero could sneak into the top 20 players in I.1 this week. 105 days on the team

In the league, I'd say you probably were. That pick would seriously carry your team for all time. Just look at my playoff series against EIC. Jay Woodall had 37 points in 3 games against me. That's pretty insane given that my best player is a star goalie. Woodall is only 6 OR better than Don Womack is right now.

I certainly won't complain about my season. As is typical with my team, I got 2-3 very decent pulls this year. But don't misunderstand, if I had the opportunity, I would absolutely take 1 Don Womack -type superstar per season even if it meant forfeiting 2-3 high quality players (like the ones I got).

At the end of the day, you can only play 7 guys at a time. What good does it do you to have a 10-15 guys that are all above average? I'd rather have 3-4 guys that are superstars (and I think you would too).

At this point I would say I have 2 players that are stars, and anywhere from 6-8 that are very good, above average players.

I just looked at your team and I thought, "what's he talking about, he's got 2 15 year olds over 300 OR!?" Then I saw that they are foreign. Yeah it looks like you definitely didn't have a good run of things this season.

How do you deal with Mojo JoJo? WasUpNerd is my buddy and everything, but god it gets frustrating seeing the sort of guys he's pulled over the first few seasons.

Develop a system to overcome your weaknesses. I have done very well with the team I have fielded but its at the point now where I just get outclassed.

So true. But back to what you wrote earlier. I disagree with you on that one. I would rather have 10 decent stars than 3 mage stars. As Micheal Jordan said: individuals win games, but the whole team wins the championships. If I have 3 mega stars and the rest is crap, I am not going to be as good as if I had 10 decent guys. I think that I have 3-4 mage stars. Aspen, Thomas, Dukarski and Cork. Btw. I think that Dukarski could make the NT. And then I have crap goalies and thats it.

But here's the thing. You can fill in the "decent guys" for cheap. There's a reason that guys like Jordan and Pippen were on the Bulls FOREVER while the supporting cast came and went.

If you have 3 mega stars, you can go to the market and get very decent fill-in guys for $5 million each. I just sold a mid 60s AQ, 300+ OR 17 year old for 5 million the other day. $5 million x 4 players = $20 million

You can't buy a single mega star for $20 million. You're looking at a minimum of $50 million (or in your case, up to $90 million) for just ONE mega star.

WasUp, why did you sell Womack? Were his Qs bad or something? That dude would have been in my lineup immediately. And his face would have been my handball logo.

greed... I was selling half of my team to get some cash for facilities, arena and maybe some superstar ( Aspen ). Suddenly this dude comes with 3 stars and 340 OR ( maybe it was lower, I cant remember. ) I put him on market for 50m, but i didnt expect him to get sold.

and he sold for a song.... Man that player would have been a beast in season 5-9.

Whatever, I got my own beast.

I started a credit tournament, it starts wednesday. Everyone is welcome.

Womack isnt perfect but pretty damn good player. One of the best 15yo players

Have you waited the end of the season to sell WasUpNerd would make tons more money on him. Perhaps 2x more.
