I was watching the DII.1 playoffs with interest too, as I was hoping to advance from DIII.4 to DII.1 either directly or by promotion round.

I've gotta say, I'm kind of bummed for the same reason Bulls4ever is happy. I was really hoping that Edison would advance to D1 so that I didn't have to worry about them next season. Oh well... I'm just happy to be advancing.

Congrats to all the winners out there. It was absolutely a HORRIBLE time to try to focus on playoffs. =/

Well... I'm thinking your main competition next year will be our old rival Dooshnozzles or Zilina United (basically whomever loses the promotion/relegation battle) and Crimson Flying Squirrels. Outside of those 2 teams, the competition will be a little thin (as it was this year).

Just make sure you pay attention when the existing managerless teams "randomly" get new managers the day you play them. I got caught and handed close losses a couple times playing on VL early in the season. And because there isn't enough depth in the league, even if you play well against the teams at the top of the standings, it's hard to make up ground if you lose to the "bottom of the pack" teams on flukes.

Hello II.1-- Ill start off by saying that Tujague thought Id play VH on both teams today. Got my starters in training camp but I think you could have beat my crappy team I threw together on low. GG.

Def hard to lose the first 2 games in to the season. Debaitng on whether or not to do another camp and assume Ill be in the playoffs.

At least I'm in the stat books as having the first red card of the season. That's gotta count for style points at least. haha
