I did the same thing!!! My custodians are 40-60 OR to maximize savings when taking into account their salary.

yah, I've been patiently waiting for a custodian to come out of my system so I can replace my high OR guys, alas, I seem to only get Physicians, Physiotherapists, and Lecturers. Might have to hit the market up...

Get rid of them now, I guarantee you they cost way more than what they save.

Anyone got a physio with 40/40 attributes or there abouts? I'm looking for a Canadian but will purchase any foreign worker. I'm scrapping all my high priced staff. Goal is to keep staff salary below player salary.

What's with the high staff salaries in this game anyways? seems a bit ridiculous. I guess it makes sense when all your facilities are fully upgraded, at least I hope so.

once your facilities are maxed out what would be the point of having any staff?
having staff when the facilities aren't maxed out makes sense cause they can bump you to the next level facility but when there is no next level what is the point

yup, done. Major downgrade, I now have the dept head at 40/40 and the assistant at 35/35 which may still be a bit high, but we'll see how this goes for the next 50 days. I don't think I'll train them for awhile....

Dropped down to 1 lecturer too, now I'm trying to figure out where else is good to cut back... What are your physicians at?

I kept my higher OR physio guys, they're around 130 OR each, i'm afraid to cut back on them just yet because my regen is behind everyone else in II.1

Staff increase the value of a facility. For example if you have a lvl 10 facility with 82% efficiency between both your staff, it operates as if it is a lvl 12 facility. This does not simply stop at lvl 15. If you have good staff at lvl 15 it behaves beyond that of a lvl 15 and zero staff. Staff are expensive because they influence a lot. The issue is, the quality of staff that people have does not reflect the state of their team. For lvl 12 and below it is pointless to have staff above 80-100 OR in my mind. Once you get the lvl 14s and 15s done, then you can use these higher staff.

Rule of thumb: if you feel they are too expensive, chances are you have staff that are a little too strong for your finances and your team.

Alright, here we are at the halfway point of the season. How are your predictions holding up?

Mine are not bad actually. Fed is up there with Fat Tuesday's and US-GB. The Cats are lower than I thought they would be but that's because of their training camp. I'm much higher than planned (planned for 8th place) but I'll be going down soon and should end in 5-6th place. Marshalls is doing very well, Canadiens is saving energy and should be able to squeeze in before the end. Panzers is much higher at this point than I thought he would be. Hs team is running out of steam but still holding on.

For the new teams, the Bests is doing a bit better than I thought they would (11 instead of 12) and the others are fighting for their lives, which is normal after promoting.

Two teams that are not performing to the level I thought they would be are Crusaders and Elmira.

I made 2 mistakes this season ( Forgot to change my tactic against Brahampton Capitals + Didn'nt play at normal against Les Northstars...) and without them,I would be 9th instead of 11... But now I'm happy with my results.I don't really expect to finish infront of alaskoop but maybe infront of Cyn33...

I think I am going to finish 9th or 10th (I hope^^) because I have no doubt that Z Panzers is going down with his low energy...

Well that's something I havnt seen in a while. A team that was relegated (fat Tuesday's) lost to a team with no manager. I know it's due to his training camp. But wow....

Let me guess (I haven't looked) the inactive had tactics and importance on him. Maybe home too?

YIKES! That is bad. I think his 7 G-OTS is what sunk him.

Why would you not train staff?
Do what I'm doing.
Train them throughout the season, then fire and hire new guys next season.
