I'm saying that in real life everything is controlled by actions of players- if San Marino won Brasil by 1-0, it was because the San Marino defender's actions were good enough to avoid Brasil's attackers and one shot from San Marino was good enough to beat Brasil's keeper. Some may call it luck, but it's definetly not random. If all the results in PPM football are generated using some complicated pattern, then it's ok, although we should have more information about that. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it's too much random and we have no power to deal with randomly generated numbers
Every time I asked this question, I got this answer, that's annoying and boring....
Is there no other answer? Ofc, cause it's random.

It's about probability, not random. Of course random is involved with events, but it's unavoidable for every manager game. That's the only way to program the game.
Although, I would say that football doesn't work like it should and reports should show us more data.

What do you suggest? The best team always won? Because the best teams already won more times then they lose..
It's interesting that people only complain when they lose.. i don't find any post here from people saying.. "there's too much random, i should not have won this match"

If u read before post, u can see that I didn't lose...
I know it's hard, maybe next time u should try it.
Whats my suggestion? It's quite simple, less random, that's all....

geez, "random" seem to be the new god here or rather the devil. if you cannot explain something, then random must have done it ...
and jimbo, if you keep getting the same answer to your question, then maybe there is something to it. just because it's not the answer you want to hear doesn't make it untrue.

Read this VERY carefully...
THERE... IS... NO... RANDOM!
If you really need an explanation of why this is the case, then please feel free to read this:

First of all, the link is wrong
Here is the correct one:www.succeed2k .com/powerp...
Second, all I can say is that what jorgenius said, in the 1st post:
when the expected result is very frequently outplayed by the unlikely one, we can indeed say the random part of the game calculation is stronger than it should be.

That's where you're wrong, the programmers DID explain, which is what inspired me to write that article in the first place.
There was a game result where a weak team beat a stronger one and the manager complained. Vlady explained that he ran that game through a simulator 200 times and 199 of those times the strong team won. The other game the weaker team did. That happens... even in the top pro leagues around the world, strong teams lose to weaker ones from time to time.
When it comes to PPM, the results are not random. Each game is made up of hundreds of individual scenarios that can go either way. Each scenario is different from the last, just like a scenario in real life.
If Ovechkin has 100 penalty shots on Marty Turco, is he going to score on 100 of them? 50 of them? Nobody knows. Is that random? No, not at all.

what TB says here is entirely true. I have explained it before, so I am not going to get into it again. TB has done a good job of summarizing the main points in his article for which I am thankful.
Well, you couldn't convince me, and think I am not the only one. Everyday, there are thousand of match, where thats happened...
Soccer is far from a correct game, that's still beta, Period. I'm out.

Well seeya then. If you don't want to play, don't play. It's as simple as that.
it is that simple isn't it... and no random in that statement
