I just mentioned this 2 times weeks ago. but there was NEVER an official statement... :o(
I would really like an explanation on how the groups for CWC were formed.
For the starters seedings should not include ratings gained in qualification matches, which seem to be quite high. I was at 8th position on Monday and today I'm 17th. The other 3 teams in my group are seeded 9th, 30th and 43rd. There are still 96 teams on the list, so all teams are form the 1st half. Really weird...

It's not 96 teams.. a lot of them were eliminated in the qualifying round
I know. 32 were eliminated and 64 are remaining.
i was first before the Qualification(no i am third), and i got the last seeded in my group. So that should be ok

actually what I just wrote is not true. The teams are separated into pots based on country ranking which is nonexistent at the moment. This is done to prevent 2 teams from the same country in the same group.
so in fact it was possible that the top 4 seeded teams(all different country) could draw each other?
Would seem so. Suits me fine. haha
That's quite dissapointing. I guess groups for CL were composed the same way. Btw, putting two teams from the same country in the same group is far more fair than putting together 3 or 4 strong teams and then 3 or 4 weak teams in some other group.
Furthermore, this season results will be used to calculate country ratings for the next season or more probably the next 3 seasons, which makes the "system" even more questionable.

oh come on. the strongest teams will show anyway. the draw is not that unbalanced.
Of course.. but in the worst case possible, if the 4 best teams were in the same group, 2 of them would have no chance to show its strenght
