Hehe maybe, nah actually i still think that i will get a great player on maybe 330+ but its not even close. Got one today with 165 OR=) And ppl gets player with 350...way to big gap.
Mathias Magnusson
Vincent Backlund
and some more - i think it's time for some other countries to get some of this

Maybe thats why i dont get high OR on my players..=)
Though i dont think those 2 had so very high OR when they came, just that they got them kinda early (and the OR was ofc very good at that time).

can someone explain to me why player A and B have a better scoring ratio than player C (nonames excluded):
Player A
103 attack
22 shooting
25 technique
22 speed
25 heading
12 goals, 34 shots on target, 23 off target
Player B
100 attack
19 shooting
47 technique
44 speed
23 heading
13 goals, 36 shots on target, 50 off target
Player C
78 attack
40 shooting
34 technique
40 speed
39 heading
14 goals, 36 shots on target, 59 off target
In the rules it says that the most important attribute for the attacker in the calculation whether a chance becomes a goal is shooting. I obviously don't know how it is calculated, but when 18 more shooting doesn't matter, how much more of a skill does matter? 50? 100?
Could this also be the reason why people complain so much? That the differences in skill are only a minimal difference in any calculation and that therefore tactic/match importance/home advantage play the decisive role in every game?

My guess is that if a player has high offensive he is going to get a better opportunity (shooting from a better place).
I agree, i have noticed that some teams tend to have a crapload more luck than the rest of us.
No luck today either, just 14 days to next dissapointment=) Wieeee!!
I was lucky to get 2 mediocre players (both mid 200's OR, 6/6 CL). One forward and one defender. No doubt they will be crap after scouting though and have a LONG way to go before they make my team.
My unlucky streak continued today too. On academy level 11 three 0,5-1* players with OR 160-190. Oh well, maybe next time..

well, that might be true, but even then there should be a visible difference between 22 shooting and 40 shooting, but to make my point a little clearer, a player I finished scouting today:
Player D
92 offensive
84!! shooting
32 technique
49 speed
30 heading
12 goals, 32 shots on target, 36 off target.
Now, I find it ridiculous that this player doesn't have a better scoring ratio than player A. So, 62 shooting difference doesn't matter much either. Again I wonder, how much more shooting does one need to do make a difference!

are you comparing players on different teams? that makes your comparison quite useless. the opponents have been different and it also matters in which position they play on the field, who they play with, etc. There are way too many factors that influence the stats.
Again - my opinion:
There is no individual plays (sorry Vlady but I think so) !
Player D was never in chance for scoring - team D was in chance - with team D Individual Skill.
My players shot on goal even when they are substitute
There is no assists in match statistics. Live coverage looks like ... players running around like fly without head
All that indicates that match engine is to simple - so lets hope that next match engine improvements will bring something better.

they are all players from my league, so they have played the same kind of opponents.
Yes, it matters who they play with, etc. but the bottom line is that from 35 or so shots on target, they all score about 13 goals. Regardless of their shooting skill.
