I do agree with Crico 120%!
.. instead of crying here mate, u need to do something to make urself worth it and prove that u much better than other, even local, managers...
.. we had manager from other country so u wouldn't be the first one.. still, if u already gave up, then don't count w/my vote neither..
FC Atlantic is good manager, he definitely made a huge progress past couple of season,..
What it would be???

I just stated that my chances as a foreign candidate are lot smaller than local managers...I am active here, I am answering all questions and posts you have for me, I wrote all about me and my expirience on the elections site, I asked managers to help the national team by sending scouted info of their young prospects since a lot of players from current roster are leaving next season,...
If you think I can do something else to prove to your people I want this position just say it...I will gladly do that...
I would have withdrawn my application if I have surrendered

We are small community on PPM which doesn't mean that we cannot work it out well. We made a huge progress past season, because of OUR managers
Earning trust is not easy.
.. I might try to read between the lines mate:
nothing has been decided yet - only 4 votes has been given and u secured one of them..
Your better presentation and your regular activities here r reasons that u still stand a chance. What else u could do to win our trust? Don't ask me, ask yourself instead.
FYI only: Look at U20, 6 votes to a single candidate, not a single vote for anyone else, however successful candidate who proved to deserve our respect as a manager on both levels!

I think Walter did a good job answering the questions I asked. I'm a bit concerned that we've heard nothing from fcatlantic. Last U17 election, we gave TassieTiger (an Aussie) our votes and he clearly wasn't all that interested and let his team go managerless halfway through his term.
The prime consideration should be the person who's going to do the best thing by the team.

yes...that's the main question...and not is it going to be a local or foreign manager...people just need to make a decision what the think it is the best for the team

My words still stays!
What I was trying to say that he made something to give himself a good chance to compete and get the job,
that's all..
(didn't mean to sounds that negative though, my bet)

Anyway, as crico appointed me as assistant manager and gave me permission to decide the line up and tactics for the game tomorrow I have chosen players that are 15-16 years old as that are players on which we can count on in the next season when the current 17 years old won't be eligable for next season...I don't know whit what kind of players we have at disposal besides called ones currently...The biggest problem is that the current 15-16 years old don't have any wings(!) so, if we don't have really good wings at disposal at the side we need to start to think about the best possible tactics without wings for the next season and also, the best suited for our players...
Here are the leading wingers skill-wise M-P-T-Sp
Calvin Tierney 134-68-69-95 R
Kevin Crane 108-45-64-119 R
Ben Train 100-90-80-92 R
Preston Overy 161-57-57-83 L
Mitchell Lonergan 111-61-55-90 L
Tierney and Lonergan are currently in the U17 squad. I don't see any reason you wouldn't persist with Tierney. He's got the best skills, reasonable qualities and being trained well in a club with good facilities. The left side is a problem. Overy is being trained poorly in a club with poor facilities which is why I didn't pick him. If he was traded to a club with good facilities and trained well he could get up to scratch quickly. When I picked Lonergan he was with a stronger club and I thought he would become the leading left winger but he was traded to a club with poor facilities and has languished.
Other players with potential include:
Nathan Molloy has the best qualities of any midfielder centre or wing and has the best facilities. Definite future nat team player. Currently being trained as CM
Kai Dowell has good qualities, currently being trained CM and as a right footer wouldn't solve the left wing problem if he changed training.
Daniel Baxter left foot centre midfielder, speed quality 75 so could change to winger, probably best option if you can't get Overy to a better club.
Joshua Murrel 15yo universal CM with speed quality 73 so could also change to wing if needed.
Shawn Crowe 15yo left side midfielder, currently teamless but on the market. Speed quality 80 so good potential to be trained as winger. Skills too low to be a viable option this season.

If Buckley is now training to be a wing midfielder, he comes into the frame too. He doesn't have the skills yet but has good qualities so definitely another worth watching.
Bad luck in the friendly. Chile went with their 17yo players so it was always going to be tough to win but giving those 16yos valuable chemistry and experience will be worth it in the long run.
I know why you played centre midfielders on the wings but I hope their match ratings convinces whoever the manager is not to pursue that strategy. Tierney and Lonergan still get better ratings than that.
I can sort of see why you played Foster at right forward. He's right footed and Bulley is universal. But Bulley has better skills to be a wing forward and would have held his rating better in the position than Foster did, possibly even improving it since Bowan's rating was higher than when he plays centre and he also has good wing forward skills.
I'm completely confused at the decision to play Stafford in centre defence. He's a wing defender so his rating was lower than normal while Johnson a good quality centre defender was left on the bench.

I wanted to play with 3 central mids because there weren't any wings 15-16y old but I didn't see that they were actually putted as wings in the tactics...I thought the positions I putted them were CM and not wings...
I know Johnson is better and that Stafford is a wing defender...but Stafford is a very very good 15 years old player for the future to come and just wanted him to gain extra chemistry...that's the only reason he palyed and not Johnson...
In conclusion I just wanted that the players for next season gain chemistry even thought there were some doubtful decisions in eyes of Australian managers but that were sacrifices made to gain chemistry...

At the moment you have my vote for the job
unless Atlantic tells us more about what his plans are for the job then I can't see how we can overlook walterwhite ( nice name )

I would happily answer any new questions if some managers have for me as the potential manager of the national team
only crico had some good questions... I would like others to ask me so they would know more about me and my playing
